2009 Jaguar Xf Sports Sedan — Best sport sedan on the road bar none! The V8 delivers 300 hp, yet I can still average 19-21 mpg on city and highway driving. It is very comfortable, has great handling, corners like norhting I have ever had before and looks so sexy that people give me thumbs up! The car is tight, rattle free, and has a very quiet agile transmission. Jag is at it's best with the XF.

Pros: Gorgeous, fast, quiet, agile and loaded with sophisticated high end features.

Cons: None so far.

Awesome Jaguar Newbie! — OK, I drove the 2.7twin turbo diesel-the smallest of available engines-and WOW! It flew! Especially with the sport button in place! Seriously, I was so impressed with this, I can only IMAGINE what the 5l will be like!!! What a bummer that the recession came along and stole the XFs thunder! :(

Pros: Fast, Comfy, Stylish

Cons: That I was too young to be allowed to drive the supercharged one lol!

Bliss —

By far the best car I've owned. I fell in love with it on the first test drive and each and every day I look forward to driving it anywhere I can. The ride quality is superb - Jaguar found the perfect balance of smoothness, quietness, handling, and the feeling of being one with the road. It's buttery-smooth and reserved when you want it to be. But press the Dynamic Driving mode button on the center console and the computer quickens the throttle response and partially disables the stability-control nanny (it can be fully disabled as well.) The result is an almost completely different driving experience. Even more, turn the gear selector to SPORT and the transmission downshifts much more eagerly and holds on to those lower gears PERFECTLY for those aggressive switchbacks we all search for. And the cabin is immaculate. Everything is solidly built and assembled, and it feels substantial to the touch. The blue halo lighting is incredible at night. And Jaguar thought of a bunch of little things that they really didn't need to, but did anyway. Get stuck at a long red light? Just pull up on the electronic parking brake on the center console, leave the car in drive and you can rest your foot. When it comes time to pull away, just press down on the accelerator and the e-brake automatically disengages for you. When you get low on fuel, the nav screen automatically displays the nearest gas station(s). Want to listen to your voice nav in a British accent? No problem! The list goes on and on. Believe me when I tell you that I would have NEVER considered owning a Jaguar before seeing this car in person and then driving it. I always thought Jaguars were boring cars and only appealed to retired folks (sorry retired folks!) But this car absolutely ROCKS no matter how you look at it. Add to this the absolute best customer service at my local Jaguar dealership, and Jaguar just got themselves a lifelong customer!

Pros: Sexy, refined, fast, head-turner, thoughtful, and the best OEM stereo I've heard to date.

Cons: Navigation system falls short, no adaptive headlights.

Jaguar Xf —

Overall, when you get a car like the Jaguar XF, you don't buy it for the 300 horses provided by its 4.2L V8 but rather for the amazing comfort its ride provides and the marvelous technology found in the cabin. When you push the ignition button, you are instantly wowed by the way the AC vents rotate open and the gear select knob rises up out of the center console. The car drives very smoothly and consumes surprisingly little for its engine size. The exterior styling may not appeal to everyone especially the eccentric fascia but the rear end certainly resembles an Aston Martin (good thing) however all that can be said is that the build quality is quite meticulous and therefore you can expect the car to last. Also the car is quite exciting to drive perhaps less exciting than a BMW 5-series or Merc E-Class but then ride comfort would be compromised right? Even then the XF is no slouch with 300 horses to get it moving. If you're feeling spendy you can even get the supercharged V8 for an additional 117 BHP to really give those Germans some competition. In my opinion, Jaguar's new design philosophy is brilliant and I hope for the best in its future models.

Pros: The Cabin tech. The Body shape.

Cons: Sort of expensive. Questionable front-end styling.

The Comeback Kid — This is the car to bring Jag back. The acceleration is incredible, especially with the supercharged version, and the exhaust tone is deep and throaty. The styling is to die for and the interior finishes are superb. This cat is an absolute dream to drive, planning to buy one within 6 months

Pros: Styling,performance,finishes... the list is never ending

Cons: Not yet thoroughly tested, not available with AWD

... — The car had some really nice features, and it rides really nice. For example the shifter twists insead of moving down the usual track, and the vents come out of the dash board when you start it, and it has push button start which is cool. But on the other hand its too rich for my blood.

Pros: The options on this car are AMAZING!

A Big Leap Forward For The Cat — A beatiful looking car with the best interior I've seen in a long time... an amazing contemporary styled interior with heaps of leathes with contrast stitching. The car screams modern design inside and out... a huge leap forward from the Jag S-type...more than evolution this is revolution! Powerful, super responsive, amazingly smooth ride with tight handling and clinicaly precise steering. Good fun to drive, in style with great sound from the B&W speakers and even better sound form the V8 engine!

Pros: Contemporary design, performance, ride and handling

Cons: Limited rear visibility
