Overall Its Very Economical. Its Fun To Drive And Turns Heads. I Get Asked Alot If Its A Hybrid. — i love my new car. it might not have the power my accord did but it makes up for it in the handling. it turns on a dime. i got up to 120 mph and was only at 4000 rpms so i think once i do modifications to it ill be in business.

Pros: its a zippy lil car with spacious insude for how small it looks on the outside

Cons: outside noise can get annoying on the highway but thats what a radio is for

From A New Owner... — this car has a unique look, a spacious interior, and is fun. the acceleration leaves a little to be desired as does the 10 gallon gas tank. however, this car keeps me in check on the road, so i'm happy. :)

    Pros: she's got the look.

    Cons: acceleration, small gas tank

Fun Car — Fun car to drive, lots of room. Great on gas. Got 42 miles per hour on highway driving. Cost is affordable. Bought new snow and mud tires as the one's on it were less than desirable, only downfall this far.

    Pros: Gas mileage and room

    Cons: nothing yet

09 Honda Fit Sport — $30 CDN a tank, enough said. Not the fastest thing but nimble enough to get around town. It is a light car and with 117 horses, that is plenty. The 2nd row 60/40 magice seats can fold flat and get more freight room than GM SUVs.

Pros: Great gas mileage, nimble handling, versitle.

Cons: engine buzzes at high rpm, a 6th gear would help.

Small Car — Plenty of interior room with many variations of seat configuration. Easy handling and good brake. Good fuel consumption and maintenance cost. Of course the engine is only 1.5 liter, the acceleration will be disappointed with full load of people. Overall it's a good car.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good interior room and fuel consumption.

Cons: Small engine with small power.

Great Buy You Will Not Be Disapointed With This Car — I have the Manual Transmission in mine and i think it responds a whole lot better then the Auto Transmission...I test drove both and I was happy with what I got. I love the very versitile way you can configure the interior to Fit almost what ever you need. I get about 38 MPG avg but I also like to get on the gas.. but you can easily get 40+ MPG out of this car.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: This would be great starter car for someone for any type of situation

Cons: The base model does not come with auto lock doors or Cruse Control for this year...And I dont like the fact that its not disk brakes all around..even for the sport

Fit — Performance: performance is weak. Had to add the Injen CAI and custom exhaust. takes off quite fast but needs more HP. with the CAI and custom exhaust its only putting out about 130HP Build Quality: no repairs yet. Appearance: looks lame Cost of Ownership: good on gas if driven the right way. Fun Factor: drives nicely.

    Pros: fast acceleration

    Cons: not enough HP

The Fit is an all around economy family vehicle. It looks decent, handles well, gets above average fuel economy, and provides a lot of cargo space for the size of the vehicle. The visibility is great - it is one of the better ones Ive experienced in quite a while. The power is could be better (especially for highway merging/passing) and the back seats could be a little more supportive but those are the main complaints I have with the car (minor overall).
Back Seats Ranked 2009 Toyota Prius Base worse.
"The back seats are more spacious, although it is a close call."
Value Ranked 2009 Toyota Prius Base worse.
"The Honda Fit is much more affordable to begin with and holds it value well while having very low maintenance costs. Even though it is lower on power and fuel economy the prior listed benefits cause it to outweigh the Prius in value over time."

A Good Car For A Small Family. By ArbitraryScreenName

Very Capable But In No Way Exciting. By Bob
