Fit For A Family With Miles To Go. — Overall I would buy another. At 50K I sold it to my step-son-in-law who needed a small daily driver w/ great fuel economy. At that point I had an extra vehicle and parted with it. I do miss it however every time I am at the pump with my Infinity G37S. What used to be $10 fill ups is not $60. Very practical and well engineered with the way the back seats fold two ways. Downside was the acceleration and acceleration at higher speeds to pass...

Pros: Economics... it is as fuel efficient as most hybrids but for a fraction of the purchase price.  It is a HONDA so it is very reliable... never a maintenance issue, not one in over 50K miles.

Cons: Poor acceleration, lacks the sportiness i am used to.  Even with the Sports package.

Great Value — This is a very comfortable and practical small car. It has all the safety features needed, like head and side airbags, and anti-lock braking. It takes only a few dollars to fill up, and goes a long way on a tank of gas. The Fit seats 4 comfortably, with a surprisingly roomy luggage area behind the back seats. If needed, the rear seats fold down very easily, which provides an even more amazingly large cargo area. All in all, this car’s comfort, cargo capacity and gas mileage make it a good practical fit for any of today’s drivers.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great gas mileage, large cargo area

Cons: None

Well Designed, Economical, Roomy 4 Door Hatchback With Legendary Honda Reliability. —

Our 2009 Honda Fit has been a fun reliable companion since we bought it new. Our Fit has been a commuter car, pet transporter, cargo hauler, RV TOAD, and weekend getaway enabler. Honda did a wonderful job designing the "magic" rear seats. With the seats in their upright position you can "fit" two actual adults in the back of the car without the front seat passengers having to eat the super long dash. With the rear seats fully collapsed into the floor, the "fit" transforms into a wonderfully roomy cargo/pet hauler with a flat floor. Sure our little four cylinder automatic Fit could use a bit more power and it does get a bit buzzy on the highway, but it's hard to beat our experience of 36mpg average with a mix of city and highway driving. Handling is decent, although feedback is a bit numb, and braking is respectable, if a bit spongy at times. One feature in the automatic sport is the ability to "sport shift" the automatic using F1 style steering wheel mounted paddle shifters. This feature can be slightly amusing but at the end of the day is a bit of a waste of time since the shifting isn't especially crisp when using the paddle shifters and the little four banger, while providing admirable fuel economy, is a bit buzzy and under-powered. At the end of the day we love our little Honda Fit. For us it simply "Fit"s our lifestyle and needs.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Deceptively roomy interior, great gas mileage, reliable, resale value.

Cons: Tire Pressure Monitoring System very sensitive, a bit more road noise than expected, air conditioning could be a bit stronger.

Small, Great On Gas And Easy On The Wallet — Overall a really good car. With Manual transmission it puts the fun back into driving. Economy is great getting upwards of 35 or better MPH on mixed use. Plenty of cargo room for family of 5 passenger packing light loads. Bike rack is OK on aftermarket towing package. Heavier racks can pull the nose up. Parking is a dream.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great on Gas... MPG numbers like a Hybrid but without all the Battery, Alternative Fuel headaches.

Cons: Light weight.  ???safety if hit by a big old SUV.

Sleek — I'm moving where I don't need a car and a car is more of a liability. But I would buy this car again in a heartbeat, I love it as much as the day I rolled it off the lot. Ridiculously fun and economical to drive...and the flexible cargo space, sound system, comfortability...great perks!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fun, stylish, economical, flexible, turns heads

Cons: only negative: it handles like a sports car but doesn't have the power of a sports car

A Okay Car To Drive Daily — a fun car to drive even though that the sport version is in a automatic transmission i like the style on the interior specially the steering wheel and the paddle shift makes you feel that your in a exotic car like a Ferrrari!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun and easy to drive

Cons: suffers from understeer

Could Use A Sunroof — everything about this car is great, gas mileage is great, this car drives like a perfect handling little go-cart, the acceleration of this car is better than my CIVIC, looks great and fun to drive, amazing room in this car for hauling or packing stuff into it as the seats fold all the down, only downside is the wiper-fluid freezes up lots in the cold cold winter here in Canada

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: for the money it is the best car.

Cons: the batery needs to be a stronger

Honda Jazz (fit) 2009 1.2 Vtec Elegance Milano Red (italy) —

The Milano Red is the only free colour for my country (except for the white which I didn't like so much), and the Elegance trim is the basic to have air conditioning; very good to see that in 4 months the appearance still looks good even without washing it every week: the build quality is satisfacting. The best quality of my car are: space, performance and costs. It's like a minivan, I could throw anything in the trunk and still have enough space to sit my mates and go even for long rides. Performance is very good: with the smallest 1.2 liter engine I can even pass people who drive a 1.6 liter (average) and say "bye-bye" to most cars I see on streets. And the best is that my tank is full for most part of the week: consumes are very little! Honda didn't provide to offer bumper protection, so any piece of dust can seriously damage the beautiful-looking Milano Red. Talking about fun? You can drive a Ferrari, if you have lot of money... but if you manage to have a ride, to load tons of stuff and still want to save some coins the Honda Fit (Jazz, for my country) can also show you how have all of this and still have good accelleration and nice handling...on a city car! ^_^

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Vtec engine, load tons of stuff, low costs

Cons: very easy to scratch
