The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LS 1500 accommodates up to nine passengers in three rows of cloth-upholstered bench seats. Adding an upscale touch, the leather-wrapped steering wheel comes equipped with audio and cruise controls, and dual-zone climate control features heating and cooling vents for rear-seat passengers. Other standard equipment includes Bluetooth wireless connectivity, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. For entertainment, the LS 1500 comes equipped with an AM/FM audio system with a CD player, XM satellite radio, and an MP3 input jack. One year of OnStar with the Safe and Sound Plan, featuring vehicle diagnostics, emergency services, and remote door unlock, also comes standard. The second- and third-row seats split 60/40 and fold down to expand cargo space to a maximum of 137 cubic feet. Safety equipment includes front head-curtain side-impact and rear head airbags.

A 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine generating 310 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque powers the rear-wheel-drive LS 1500 for 2009. The engine links to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, which replaces the previous year's four-speed automatic. The V8 features GM’s Active Fuel Management technology, which deactivates up to four cylinders when they're not needed to improve fuel efficiency. The EPA estimates fuel economy numbers for the LS 1500 at 14/20 mpg. Four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system all come standard. Exterior features for the half-ton LS 1500 include power heated exterior mirrors, daytime running lights, front tow hooks, a luggage rack, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LT1 1500 comes equipped with a number of standard features not found on the base LS 1500 trim, including front bucket seats with an eight-way power-adjustable driver's seat. Outside, the LT1 1500 also adds front foglights and body-color mirror caps and door handles. Other exterior features include power heated exterior mirrors, daytime running lights, front tow hooks, and a luggage rack. Inside, standard features for the LT1 1500 include a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, dual-zone climate control with vents for rear-seat passengers, Bluetooth, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. The second- and third-row bench seats split 60/40 and fold down to expand cargo space to a maximum of 137 cubic feet. The standard AM/FM audio system includes a CD player, XM satellite radio, and an MP3 input jack. One year of OnStar with turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle diagnostics, emergency services, and remote door unlock also comes standard. Optional features for the LT1 1500 include a a premium sound system with a CD changer, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a navigation system. Front head-curtain side-impact and rear head airbags are among the LT1 1500's many safety features.

Power for the rear-wheel-drive LT1 1500 comes in the form of a 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine, which produces 310 hp and 335 lb-ft of torque. The V8 engine mates to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, and features GM’s Active Fuel Management technology, which deactivates up to four cylinders when they're not needed to improve fuel efficiency. A hefty 6.0-liter V8 engine powers the 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LS 2500. The big V8 pumps out 352 hp and a substantial 382 lb-ft of torque. All that power should appeal to owners who plan to use the Suburban for heavy-duty towing, since the Suburban LS 2500 has a maximum towing capacity of 9,600 pounds. The V8 links to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, which replaces the previous year's four-speed automatic, and features GM’s Active Fuel Management technology, which deactivates up to four cylinders when they're not required to improve fuel efficiency. The StabiliTrak electronic stability program, as well as traction control and four-wheel antilock brakes, all come standard. Exterior features for the rear-wheel-drive, three-quarter-ton LS 2500 include power heated exterior mirrors, daytime running lights, front tow hooks, a luggage rack, and 17-inch aluminum wheels.

The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LS 2500 seats up to nine passengers in three rows of bench seats. Cloth upholstery comes standard throughout the cabin. A leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio and cruise controls adds an upscale touch. Other standard interior features for the '09 LS 2500 include dual-zone climate control with vents for rear-seat passengers, Bluetooth wireless connectivity, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LT2 1500 offers a well-appointed cabin with an upscale feel, thanks to such standard features as leather front bucket seats, a second-row bench seat with leather upholstery, tri-zone automatic climate control, and power-adjustable pedals. An ultrasonic rear parking assist and a remote vehicle starter system also come standard. In addition, the LT2 1500's AM/FM audio system includes a 6-CD changer, as well as XM satellite radio and an MP3 input jack. Other standard features for the LT2 1500 include a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, Bluetooth, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. One year of OnStar with turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle diagnostics, emergency services, and remote door unlock is also included in the standard equipment list. The LT2 1500 seats up to eight passengers in three rows. Both the second- and third-row bench seats split and fold to expand cargo space, which tops out at 137 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down. Optional features include heated front seats, a navigation system, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and a power sunroof. Front head-curtain side-impact and rear head airbags are among the LT2 1500's many safety features.

A 310-hp, 5.3-liter Vortec V8 engine powers the rear-wheel-drive LT2 1500. The V8 generates 335 lb-ft of torque and connects to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The V8 features GM’s Active Fuel Management technology, which deactivates up to four cylinders when they're not required to improve fuel efficiency. The EPA estimates fuel economy numbers for the LT2 1500 at 14/20 mpg. The V8 runs on regular unleaded gasoline, although owners can opt for an available FlexFuel version of the 5.3-liter V8. Traction control, four-wheel antilock brakes, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system come standard. Exterior features for the LT2 1500 include power heated exterior mirrors, daytime running lights, a luggage rack, and 17-inch aluminum wheels. For a sportier driving experience, owners can add an optional Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes specially tuned springs and shocks, an automatic locking rear differential, a unique grille and front fascia, a Z71-specific gauge cluster, and 18-inch aluminum wheels with on-/off-road blackwall tires, among other features.

The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LT2 2500 seats up to eight passengers in its spacious, well-appointed cabin. For entertainment, the LT2 2500 comes equipped with an AM/FM audio system with a 6-CD changer, XM satellite radio, and an MP3 input jack. Other standard features for the LT2 2500 include a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, Bluetooth, cruise control, and remote keyless entry. Chevy also includes one year of OnStar with turn-by-turn navigation, vehicle diagnostics, emergency services, and remote door unlock, among other features. Both the second and third rows fold down to expand cargo space, which tops out at 137 cubic feet. Optional features include heated front seats, a navigation system, a rear-seat DVD entertainment system, and a power sunroof. Front head-curtain side-impact and rear head airbags are among the LT2 2500's many safety features.

A hefty 6.0-liter V8 engine provides power for the '09 Suburban LT2 2500. The V8 pumps out 352 hp and 382 lb-ft of torque, which enables the SUV to tow up to 9,600 pounds. The engine connects to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and features GM’s Active Fuel Management technology, which shuts down four cylinders when they're not required to conserve fuel. Four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, and the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system all come standard. Outside, standard features include front foglights, power heated exterior mirrors, a luggage rack, and body-color mirror caps and door handles. The LT2 2500 rides on a Premium Smooth Ride suspension and 17-inch aluminum wheels. For a sportier driving experience, owners can add an optional Z71 Off-Road Package, which includes specially tuned springs and shocks, an automatic locking rear differential, a unique grille and front fascia, a Z71-specific gauge cluster, and 18-inch aluminum wheels with on-/off-road tires.

The 2009 Chevrolet Suburban LT2 1500 4WD's long list of standard features includes Chevy's Autotrac on-demand four-wheel-drive system, which ensures maximum stability and traction in all types of driving conditions. A 310-hp, 5.3-liter V8 engine provides power for the LT2 1500 4WD. The V8 produces 335 lb-ft of torque and features Active Fuel Management, which shuts down four of the engine's eight cylinders when they're not required to conserve fuel. The engine, which runs on regular unleaded gasoline, links to a new six-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, as well as traction control and four-wheel antilock brakes, all come standard. The rear-wheel-drive LT2 1500 4WD rides on a Premium Smooth Ride suspension and 17-inch aluminum wheels.
