A Great Car For High-performance, Yet Economical, Commuting. — I really have an '08, not an '09, but they do not list an SS Turbocharged option for '08. Performance-wise, this car is the real deal. Very strong engine, excellent gear splits (1-2 is a little wide, rest are evenly spaced), killer Brembo brakes and very solid handling. The seats, once adjusted, are excellent. Factory stereo with trunk subwoofer is nice. After 15k miles, I've only had trouble so far with rear brakes making a noise (but otherwise working fine).

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast, fun, still good on gas (102mph in 1/4 mile, 31 mpg highway)

Cons: Crummy interior plastic, tiny trunk opening, difficult to access rear seat area

Uck. — Not one of GM's best vehicles. Shakes, rattles and rides like crap. My Saturn was definitely better. Good gas mileage, but that's about it. VERY uncomfortable to drive.. Should have taken a longer test drive, but Chevy didn't put gas in it before I left!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas Mileage

Cons: P.O.S.

Totally Worth It If You Love Fast Cars — Super fast. Easy and cheap to upgrade. With a simple tune, it can be as fast a corvette. Its comfortable. Shifts easy. Can be very smooth, despite the stiff suspension. Well worth the money I paid for it. Faster than a 350z, Mustang GT, V6 Camaro, Z28 Camaro, Cobalt SS/SC, and many more. very fast

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Super fast!

Cons: The cheap interior

Love It — The SS Turbocharged Cobalt if a very quick car with amazing handling.Interior and exterior is very stylish. Build quality slightly poor few repairs under warranty, MPG is between 20-27 on good days. Super fun car to drive. If you are looking for a fun sporty good looking car this is what you want.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Speed

Cons: Build quality

Turbo Pssstttt — acceleration is good and a top speed of 240km/h. I find that the wheel gap is too much on the SS coupe since it's a sport model and they should put some HID lights for the luxury. The car is moose proof is you are going 120 km/h and hit it dead on...i will total the car but not total you...haha

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: turbo

Cons: chev i guess for all the import guys out there

My Cobalt Coupe — good car overall. naturally the 2 Lexus's that my parents own are so much better. however i love my car. the car is fast and sports. It is so much fun 2 drive! i got the vehicle remote start add-on. so whenever its 2 hot or cold i turn on my car with that and let the ac/heat do its thing. its really good on gas 2. i am averaging about 26-27 mpg overall. full tank gets me allmost 400 miles.

Pros: remote start feature

Cons: cheap look on the inside
