Very Good Car To Own. Fun To Drive — Great car. Fun to drive. Excellent handling in wet, dry, snow. comfortable seats. Motor is smooth and powerful. Car responds quickly to all controls: gas, brake, steering. Styling is great. Maintenance is relatively expensive but you pay for what you get.

Pros: Performance, handling, reliability, styling

Cons: maintenance cost

Fun Car To Drive And Upgrade — Car was more powerful than expected and has a few easy upgrades that can make the car more fun to drive. Handling is a little tight and not user friendly. Multiple electronic products defects and issues that can be a pain to deal with. Expect decent maintenance to continue use.

Pros: Decent power and possible upgrades to add more. Aggressive look and smooth suspension.

Cons: Lacks interior styling, electronics are very spotty and have issues at times. Higher maintenance costs

Great Sedan/convertible Combo! — We traded our 2011 BMW Z4 for this 2013 328I hard-top convertible. we really enjoy having a bit more space for small luggage. Now we can go on weekend trips! The Z4 handled a little bit better, but the 328 is a crossover that gives us a nice sedan for work, or in bad weather.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Sedan and convertible all in one! Rear seat area is great for additional cargo space.

Cons: small trunk, when top is down. Low road clearance.

Good Car — This is the second one I have bought of the same model. I love the standard BMW options along with all the extras it has. The engine is overbuilt and can last for a long time. It has the updated i drive which works a lot better than the previous generation.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast, Lots of potential, German built

Cons: Not a lot

Showroom Car — I loved the attention i get when i drive the car. I loved feeling luxurious with the interior and smooth engine response. I love the way the car moves exactly the way you want it to with very impressive throttle response and excellent handling. The car is very fun to drive and the brakes is the impeccable. The car feels very safe.

Pros: The car has no scratches or swirls, dings, dents, etc. at all.
3.0 liter in-line v6 gives it a smooth ride.

Cons: Little trunk space.
Stiff suspention

Not Worth The Money — The fuel economy is not bad for a car with adequate power. It just is not reliable for the money. I expected a lot better reliability but have had it into the dealer more than I would like. So glad I bought the extended warranty past the 50K miles. The gas tank fuel level senders went out right after it hit 52K miles and I ran out of gas during rush hour on the freeway. Dangerous but not uncommon problem with these.

Pros: Good Looking car -

Cons: Unreliable - gas gauge problems - turn signal failures (LED) -Steering repair. Tires were awful so I replaced them before they wore out.

The Ultimate Driving Machine — Beware: once you go BMW you'll never have the taste for anything else. The car is solid, fast, fuel efficient, looks great and very reliable. What mostly impressed me is its performance in heavy snow with all season tires. I'll never drive anything else.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Safe, powerful, great handling in snow, fuel efficient, great on maintenance

Cons: Nothing

Great Handling Sports Sedan For A Couple With A Small Dog — Overall the X drive is a great car for daily driving and all around fun. Smallish back seat is expected in a 3 series, however, most understand the size and if back seat room is essential then consider a 5 Series. AWD is great in all conditions. Lack of cupholders in console is disappointing.

Pros: Great handling X Drive, remember to disengage DTC when requiring powering out of a snowdrift, etc...  Smooth and powerful, fast, great sound system, easy to use I drive.

Cons: Back seat room tight, a bit noisy in my opinion, lack of nice cupholders, don't like pull out of dash rings.

Awesome! — Outstanding car with great handling. Sporty and stylish. A real eye catcher. Hard to find a convertible with this style top and feel of security. New tires handle the pavement well with grip allowing for quick take offs and stops.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Handling and Power, great lines and style

Cons: Trunk space somewhat limited when top retracted

Niece Combo Family And Commuting — really nice fuel economy average speed of 78km/h 5.0 L diesel mainly driving 100-140km/h on highway and a litlle within city borders. in 4th. gear at 75 km/h fuel is aprox. 3.8 L/100km handling is great some depends ofcourse on tire choice. its. great fun fore being a practical car. if it wasent fore the fuel economy i would have bought a subaru legacy

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: power to fuel :-)

Cons: its still not a m3
