Bmw 120d Cabrio — i like that it's a cabrio. Its speakars are very well. the top opens very fast, and you can open it while driving at 45 kmh. it's acceleration is not super fast but also not slow. 0-100 in 8.3

Pros: everything

Cons: little boot

A Truly Fun Bimmer — The BMW 1 series is a truly great rear wheel drive. It's rather small size added to a very well balanced chassis make the car fun and handy, especially when cornering. The BMW diesel engine has great torque, but it could still be a little better. The design of the car contributes to the fuel economy. All in all this car is a great pleasure, and a true BMW with high resale value.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The handling, build quality, fuel economy, and looks.

Cons: Price

jpc1953 says:
The twin-turbo 135i is a rocket with 6-speed manual trans, has more kick-in-the-butt acceleration than my SLK350, firmer ride but not harsh, a great car (BMW should have continued the series but like everything these days every model is bigger; the new 3 is now the size of the old 5, the new 5 is the size of the old 7; ya know some of us still like smaller rides). 135 was very practical with fold down rear seats.

Looks/Style Ranked 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class SLK 350 better.
"A little more exotic, sleeker look, more of a head-turner. "
Would Buy Ranked 2009 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class SLK 350 better.
"Both great cars, different market appeal. The SLK350 is more of a cruiser, especially with automatic (not manual trans available) whereas the 135i with manual 6-speed more powerful and responsive feeling. SLK has a retractable hard-top, BMW roomier and more practical, the Merc has a little more panache. "

Honestly I was a little let down test driving the 135is as compared to my 128i the power was just not quite what I was expecting. I was hoping for leaps and bounds but only got skips and hops. As far as looks go the interior of the 135is was pretty slick (although it was a few years newer) not a bad car just was t to impressed as far the power went.
