2008 Vw Gti 2.0t Fsi — Performance is excellent tanks to the turbocharged 2.0 liter engine. Great chassis and handling. Appearance and built-quality are great. Loads of gadgets and goodies. Gas mileage is great in normal driving conditions. Very fun to drive! I strongly recommend this vehicle. 1 Of A Kind.... — the car is amazing...it has a DSG gearbox and does 0-100kmh in 6.9 seconds which is the same as the new 2009 standard GTI...the acceleration from 1st, 2nd and 3rd are amazing but it lacks pull on top hand....oh and the handling is impecable.... Vw In Da House. Ya. — Well, it has good acceleration, 0-60 in about 6.5 seconds with the DSG. It is fwd and and is a VW so it costs a lot insure and upkeep. All in all, great car. My Red Flash — Amazing performance: 6.9sec from 0-100km/h in manual gear selection - 6 speed DSG gearbox...Top speed - hmmm too many flashes but definitely fit for the race track, great handling, low gas mileage - around 7.5 l/100km in normal ride conditions Appearance in red: cool Pros: race track capable Cons: a bit too less power - stage 1 needed ;-) |

'08 Vw Gti 4-door — Fun daily driver. Powerful and comfortable, but doesn't ride so stiff as to jar your back like the Honda Civic SI. Expected understeer in corners is there, added to by the car being a little top heavy. Also, brake fade creeps up quick in "spirited" driving, so brake upgrade should be first on your list, quickly followed by a chip from AP Tuning.
