Outback Outrstanding — This is the car that does everything it is supposed to do . This is one up from the base and still has heated seats, mirrors and wipers. And in the Inland Northwest these are true attributes. Great gas mileage in lieu of power. Althoug h it is a Jelly bean in the northwest, but that's because it does what it was designed to do . Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Best car I have ever owned and one of the cheapest Cons: Could use the addtional power Better sound system ![]() Looking for a Used Outback in your area?CarGurus has 16,039 nationwide Outback listings starting at $2,000. |

2nd Review Of This Car — September 2011 hurricane Irene was fast approaching the eastern states, worried about losing power altogether, I therefore purchased an electric start generator on line thru Costco, the carrier cannot deliver the item ordered due to the fact the street is narrow and it is a dead end, the carrier ask if I have a pickup truck, replied "no, I don't have one but have a Subaru Outback", "that will do" proceeded to pick it up from the carrier terminal-with so much doubt in my mind, but the little mule hauled and delivered. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: a mule Cons: none |

See Above — I love an All-Wheel-Drive. The Subaru has symetrical AWD, equal drive to all wheels. There's nothing like getting into a slide on a loose or muddy road and having the confidence to drive through the situation without losing control. With the high safety rating that Subaru have earned, I feel confident to put my family in this car and know they will be as safe as they can be. Pros: AWD, love it. Subaru reliability. Resale value. Three mode auto trans, Auto - Sport Auto - Sport Manual . 8.6L/100Km ave. The 2.5L boxer 4cyl motor can be very spritley when you give it the ask and use the auto to full capability. Very comfortable seats. Ergonomics are excellent. everything is at your fingertips. Looks great (well, we think so!). Reasonable load space for a car of this size. Cons: Not that good for towing (surprisingly). No low range with the auto. Has had a small rattle in the drivers door and a squeek in the drivers seat since we bought it. Cruise control could be more precise. The 2.5L boxer engine is tuned for long life, not performance; With the auto, it can be a slug at times. Overall: It's a nice drive. Nothing too outrageous or to boring. It's a car that is built for a purpose and it fulfills it's purpose perfectly. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: See above Cons: See above |

Good Choice. — The worst: seats are very uncomfortable, and interior measures: it is very small for a car of its size. The best: the rest. It is awesome. High MPG, fast acceleration, AWD stands AWESOMED, reliable. It's a pitty not having more engine offer, mainly turboes. Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: For experiencing grip in all circumstances. Cons: The seats. |

Subaru Is The Best. — First I was sceptical about getting an Outback, but once I got it I love it. It is very spacious, when it comes to performace the four cilynder engine does it's job, it is powerful. Build quality is very nice, better then my previous cars that I owned, I like the way it look inside and Outside. I tried my on ice, snow, sand, dirt, and the handling is very good due to symmetrical All Wheel Drive. My gas milage is great, from the whole tank I can get about 300-320 miles. I get city 20-21 mpg/g and highway 25-26 mpg/g. And my average is 22.6-23.5 mpg/g. When it comes to maintanance Subarus are build to live. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: The value you of a car for the money you pay!!! Cons: non |

Doesn't Get Much Better Than This For Value — Reliable, great in snow, quality interior, hauls all toys, easy on the pocketbook, good gas mileage relative to full time four wheel drive, still under warranty so I don't know about the cost of ownership over the life of the car Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: gets me to work day in an day out Cons: a bit small for someone who is close to six foot |

Our Outback — Super car - I feel very sporty in it I really like the two tone color option that we got - blue on top with silver on bottom. It drives well - and fits our two kids and all their gear very well. Pros: how it drives, color! Cons: none |
