If You Don't Need The Cargo Space, A Great Compact Car. — Despite the rally heritage, performance is just so-so. It's a nimble handler and extremely comfortable with excellent ergonomics and passenger space. The looks takes getting used to, but overall build-quality is above those in its class. Only downside is extremely poor cargo space which can't even swallow 2 suitcases!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Competent handler with a comfortable ride.

Cons: Poor cargo space.

'08 Impreza 2.5i — LOVE how it drives, but have had some minor problems involving plastics used on the car (both interior and exterior). Red was not my first choice for color, but I haven't gotten pulled over for speeding in the almost 2 years I've owned it already! =)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I can beat most other stock (non-turbo) cars off the line at any red light =)

Cons: It doesn't have a turbo! ='(

A+ Daily Driver, C- Race Car? — Performance: Acceleration - Slow due to WeightOfCar/SOHC/only170hp Braking - Decent for a stock car under 20k Handling - AWD BABY! AINT NOTHING BETTER! Build Quality: Everything seems to be in order except for maybe my e-brake light turns on. Appearance: Interior - As good as a modern day compact car can be. Plastic but what cars arent these days under 20k? well built and nothing is loose or hanging after 2 years. Exterior - It's either you love it or you hate it. and I LOOOOOOOOOVE IT! Cost of Ownership: Gas Mileage - not so great but thats expected of all AWD vehicles. Maintenance - Have not had to repair anything on this vehicle after two years. Fun Factor - The handling is a must to experience, if not this car then drive another subaru and experience why the Subaru name is known for their ability to handle on the road. AWD is standard in all Subaru vehicles!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: AWD

Cons: Lack of Power

If You Have Snow Where You Live, You Need This Car — This car is great for Utah. Awesome in the snow. I put some Handkook Icebears on it and it sticks to everything. I wish i went with the WRX because I miss my small turbo I had in my Passat. And gas mileage isn't the best.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Best all wheel drive car for snow

Cons: being midsize it could do better on gas

Okay — Slow very slow. The steering is good very loose. But speed wise is not how I like it. If your going to get an Impreza I'd get an WRX or STi. But physically its appealing to the eye but I'd rather get the WRX.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good Looking

Cons: The acceleration sucks

Pretty Sweet — Awesome surround sound, good transmission, but it looks like every other car out there. Subarus can get through just about anything - any weather, but this sedan is a little too low to the ground so raised stuff is a bit of a problem.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Subarus can power through just about anything

Cons: The outside because it looks like a normal car

My08 Awesomeness — Unfortunaterly theres not nearly enough power in teh low end cos its a automatic. The Wrx is a step above but at the asking price its still in my humble opinion not worth it. this is also ben rebranded as is slightly feminine but i still pefer it over the civic or the focus

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: the revised front end

Cons: It doesnt drive hardenough

My 08 2.5i — For being a flat 4 naturally aspirated, it makes decent power. Brakes are average. Handling is blegh cuz theres no rear sway bar and the springs are pretty mushy stock. No repairs, no sqeakes, sometimes the mirrior vibrates if the musics too loud and gets door rattles. Appearance, looked like a camry at first but from there grew on me. Interior is very straight-to-the-point. No unneccessary stuff. I like the full red gauge and radio/hvac theme with the lights and the sweep-gauge startup. Gas mileage is good, about 26 city in the summer so far.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good mpg, pretty fun to drive, comfortable seats, user-friendly interior

Cons: Less than spectacular handling, would have preferred more power, stock audio isnt as good as it should be
