Great Car — I love the look on the outside, but the interior room for the back seat is limited for anyone about 6 feet tall. The cost of insurance for 6 months is ridicules for someone under 25 years of age, but overall a great passenger car. Last but not least a great car on gas millage if you are nice to it. Pros: The Sun Roof Cons: The Cost ![]() Looking for a Used G6 in your area?CarGurus has 469 nationwide G6 listings starting at $1,000. |

2008 Pontiac G6 Base Model 4cyl 4dr — for a base model, 4cyl, 4 door sedan, the car is sporty and useful. i can go vroom vroom, and still pick up my grocieries and take my dog out. the acceleration and braking arent too touchy which i love, and the interior isnt fancy schmancy, but its easy to keep clean, and my dashboard tells me how many miles are left on my tank, my tire pressure, when i need an oil change, my average speed, my average mpg etc. the stock sterio system thumps like it has a sub in it, and the controls are so easy to use. i get great gas mileage, i drive on average 240 miles a week or more, and my tank will last me longer than a week, even how i drive (with a lead foot.) i just recently got an oil change at 5000 miles (i know its a sin) but i still had 45% oil life left. its very stylish, a beautiful body design, theyve taken off the door moldings this year, which makes the whole car look smoother. i love my freaking car. Pros: everything Cons: nothing |

Pontiac G6 Gt Convertible — This car is very fun to drive and obviously nice to look at! Overall the car is made pretty well. Gas mileage is terrible (17in town/20hwy).And I'm comparing that with the 4 dr. I had before (23/28). It has enough power for me but it is not a high performance car. Pros: looks great and fun to drive Cons: no trunk space when top is down, not good gas mileage |

Look At The G6 Before You Buy A 40k — I have the 66 GT, I have to carefully manage starts to avoid wheel spin on dry pavement. The car has plenty of power and good fuel economy at the same time. I get about 22.7 around town and 29 on the highway. This thing is aerodynamic because it gets its best mileage around 75 mph. The appearance is nice and my friends who drive expensive imports say the car has good looks but they wonder if it is too good to be true. I think the fit and finish is better than Acura. No maintenance besides the usual oil changes and such. The car is fun to drive and has better handling than the Audi A4 I owned previously on dry roads. Quattro was better in the rain and snow but had gas guzzler mileages in the range of 11-12 mpg, kind of like an H2 HUMMER. How did they do that in a 2.8 liter compact? Pros: Great gas mileage, excellent performance, good looks, excellent reliability. Cons: People refuse to believe how good this car is. |

Young, Fly, And Flashy!! — I absolutely love this car! I previously had a 2005 GT model but had to upgrade to the 2008 GXP. It is worth the extra headaches and hours I had to pick up at work in order to afford this. Looks sporty and handles beautifully. If you get one, get the GXP Street Edition, thats what I have, it is the top of the line model. Nice leather seats and the sound system is great. This car looks good and will make you look even better. Better yet it will keep the haters hatin'! Pros: Very stylish and flashy, nice wheels, very roomy, accelerates and handles great! Cons: May attract too much attention with the 18" chrome wheels, easy to go over speed limit (speeding tickets), XM radio does not display song titles and artists (dont know why), not enought bass in sound system. |

Amazing Acceleration, The Handling Is Phenomenal, And It Drives Great In Snow. — I bought this car 3 weeks ago and it's a blast! I love to drive it. It has that extra punch when you want it to pass or pull out. Pros: Acceleration, handling, traction control works great in the snow and ice. The hard top convertible is perfect. Cons: It's not spring yet - or warm enough to put the top down. I should have waited another month or so to buy so I wouldn't be torturing myself - wanting to put the top down but not being able to. |
