Pontiac G5 — This car handles well, it takes curves and turns really nicely. It is a smooth ride and a nice looking car. The only downside is that it seems to have a lot of problems with the brakes for some reason.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handles well

Cons: brakes are squeaky since we got it

Nicks G5 — This is a good little car. It does great on fuel and is probably one of the quickest stock 4 bangers i have ever ridden in. I am used to having four wheel drive vehicles and I miss that but this car looks slick and it saves me money!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fuel mileage

Cons: very light, front wheel drive

Pontiac G5 Gt 2.4 — Performance from the 2.4L and 175HP and awesome handling and the quality is good. Fun sports car. The gas milage great. The 17inch wheels set off nicely and the leather is nice. The 380 watt Pioneer Sound system is SICK

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good power and good gas milage

Cons: Blind spots

G5 With Drivers Package — The steering is electric and does not give much feedback to your hands. I did however purchase the drivers package, helping out a bit with a leather wrapped steering wheel and low profile tires. Sun roof started rattling after few months. Got a pioneer sound system with sub included, sounds good! Mileage is not what originally expected over 10Lper100KM. Still I enjoy driving it on long trips, doesn't feel like tiny car.

Pros: Looks good once windows got tinted. Sounds good too! Does not feel small

Cons: Couple rattles and not alot of responsiveness or performance.

Pontiac G5 — Great car gas economy wise, but a little tight in the head room. The engine has great pick up for a 4 banger, and the trim is very cool. The stock stereo is not bad for a stock system without a sub.

Pros: Gas economy, looks, sound system, options

Cons: Head room, noise floor.

Pontiac G5 — Very good overall car, considering a base price of just over 16k. Not bad performance, able to get up and go, but build quality is fairly poor. Less than 5k on it, and had to take it to dealership twice. Cheap on gas (very cheap), and gets great mileage on the freeway.

Pros: Styling, cheapness

Cons: Tacky, cheap interior

Pontiac G5 — Looks kinds sporty, gets 33 MPG, got a really good deal because it's stick... we'll take it. It's stylish, practical, fairly inexpensive, and US made are the key reasons we bought it. However, the transmission grinds in 4rd and 3rd gear and the deal won't fix it. In the 5 months we've had it, we've put on 15,000 miles. We've made 4 good distance road trips and it's been great. The 3 free months of XM was nice, we ended up subscribing to it after that.

Pros: Great on gas

Cons: You can tell they cut some corners, specially on the transmission

G5 Rocks! — I love this car, it is a great car in city and on highway, low on insurance, easy to maintain and drive. It has a powerful 2.2L engine inside that takes where you want to go with excellent pickup. I highly reccomend this vehicle. Try it out for yourself... you see what i mean.

Pros: Handling, perfomance, solid build quaity

Cons: Hub caps

G5 Gt, A 4 Cylinder That Drives Like A 6! — Actually, my girlfriend purchased a G5 GT in black with the high mounted spoiler option. Performance: Very impressive, the car actually sounds like a V6 upon acceleration. Smooth riding car...4 Cyl has abundant power. Build Quality: very good, nice fit and finish in regards to the interior materials. Appearance: Very sporty, GT version has more muscular appearance. Cost of Ownership: Good car for the money, very good on gas no problems to report Fun Factor: My girlfriend claims that it is an "awesome car to commute in!" (She still will not allow me to take it for a test spin by myself!!!) * The only complaint that I can come up with is the lack of head room, leg room, and shoulder room in the front seats. But considering I am bigger than the average bear (6'2, 256 lbs., amateur bodybuilder), I would conclude that a man just under 6 feet tall and 180 lbs. would find the car to be a perfect fit.

Pros: Acceleration, cornering, braking, GT model exterior pleasing to the eye.

Cons: Lack of room for us larger "meatheads"

Overall A Great Car — A great car. Solid build quality, Decent performance. So far low maintenance costs. One of my few complaints about this vehicle is the gas milage. Highway driving I get around 6.0 L/100Km, while city driving avg milage is between 8.5-9.5 L/100Km. Overall a fun car to drive, though a little more horsepower wouldn't hurt.

Pros: Solid Build, Decent Performance, Low Maintenance

Cons: Not the Greatest Milage and could use a bit more power
