Paint Job Seems To Scratch Too Easily — I love my car it is great, just hope the bumper to bumper warranty takes care of the paint job. Owner for 0 years, 3 months Miles Driven per Year:15,000 Pros: One nice looking car! Cons: crappy paint-seems like a defect paint job on mine |

Sporty And Hot As. — Best car by far. Faster than my Impreza, better on fuel than any car I have ever driven - paddle shift gear box kitted out with VRX trim and no-key entry or start. It rocks. Pros: F.A.S.T. Key, Paddle Shift, Body, Fuel economy, Handling & Speed Cons: Mitsubishi. Need I say more in Australia? |

Best Bang For Your Buck — In a brutal segment ruled by the Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla staples, Mitsubishi has now pushed the envelope and raised the bar significantly for its competition. With aggressive styling, superior performance, excellent reliability and unbeatable pricing, the all-new 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is the best small-to-midsize car on the market today. Not only will this car steal looks with its aggressive, shark-like stance, which evokes styling cues from Volvo, BMW and Seat, but it will also win the hearts of those looking for superior performance, good fuel economy, reliability and safety at an unbeatable price. Performancewise, the Lancer offers a 2.0L 4 cylinder engine on all trims, which generates 152hp, the most in its class (excluding Civic Si and Mazdaspeed 3). The engine is matched to either a 5-speed manual transmission, available on the DE and ES versions, or a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Sportronic and steering wheel mounted shifting paddles on the GTS version. The ES and GTS version offer disc brakes on all 4 wheels along with standard ABS and DSC. As for safety, along with the brakes comes 8 airbags (front driver, front passenger, 4 curtain, knee driver, knee passenger). Standard equipment on my manual ES includes AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio with steering-wheel mounted controls, integrated Bluetooth with steering-wheel mounted controls, alloy wheels, DRLs, multifunction key, and other details. Overall, this is an excellent car either for city driving or for highway driving, with its gorgeous looks, superior performance, great fuel economy, standard equipment and pricing, it makes for the best option available on the market today. Pros: Looks, acceleration, braking, standard equipment, price, fuel economy, huge trunk space, tons of cupholders and places to put stuff, back seat comfort (I'm 6'4, so trust me on this one, head clearance, knee room and back support are perfect), good seats. Engine is very silent when it needs to be, demoniacally loud when you need it to be. Honks like a semi-trailer! Cons: Road noise, low road clearance (an absolute headache in Mexico City, but shouldn't be much of an issue elsewhere), no place to put coins, Bluetooth is tricky to set up, clutch is a little on the soft side and needs to be pushed in too deep to make a shift. |

For What It Is And The Class It Competes In, This Car Is A Great Buy. — The manual is very fun to drive and communicative. It has a little more tendency to understeer than I like in a vehicle but the Lancer is very competent up to the limit of traction. Transitions are nice and controlled and the vehicle has an ok suspension. I think Bushings, Rear Swaybar and Wheels and Tires are definitely in the future. Maybe coilovers but I'm weighing the pro's and con's of completely destroying the capability/versatility of the car. Pros: Cheap, Good engine, OK Stereo, Fun to Drive Cons: Cheap, Build Quality, Road Noise, Wind Noise, Soft Paint |

My Own Review ! — Interior is agressive and confortable, well designed. Exterior is agressive too with a shark look front. Handling is very impressive on the car, stock with 18" and with sport suspensions, it will surprise a lot of you. This car is cool even if the engine is a litlle weak compared to the rest of the car. Pros: Handling is incredible. Cons: Engine a little weak but enough most of the time. |

Good Car For The Price — I wanted a new car and set myself a budget. For the price this was the best car I could find. Been a run out model it came with heaps of extra's. Plus, a 2.4l motor in a small car means the performance is pretty good for a small car.Build quality seems good so far. Pros: It's new Cons: Drive by wire annoys me |
