The Best Car In The World — its the hottest hatch out there. theres nothing bad to say about this car. its reliable, fast, attractive, and a true sleeper. its got the room of a sedan but the speed of a coupe.

Pros: its quick as hell. has a ton of potenial. with around 2,300 dollars u can be at the 300-320 whp. its tight handling and crisp  6 speed transimision is awesome

Cons: the sound system could be a little better, it does produce a good amount of bass though.

N/a — What won me over was quite defenatly the interior 5 stars for comfort. This car is a blast to drive.

Pros: Sleek, Fast, comfortable,

Cons: Everyone else keeps asking to drive it and I keep having to tell them to bugger off. MPG is kinda low for a new car about 26

Hatch Makes It Sleeper, But The Power And Handling Will Grab Anyones Attention —

Living and driving in Colorado with some of the country's most respected twisties, is where this car feels at home. Take a recomended 30 near twice the speed and feel the sure footed P215/45's practically rip the asphalt off. No tire scrub, just a thrill seekers dream of apex glory. This car handles at a rate far higher than most have in the way of God given skill. A closed course track is where all of the potential of this car should be unleashed. The 2.3L direct injected inline four with an astonishing 15.3 lbs. of turbo boost quickly throws the car in to the 3500 RPM powerband marker despite the tourqe management system, and keeps you grinning all the way up to six grand. The great part is... You've got five more gears, and a hell of a lot of speedo left before the electronic governor kicks in and spoils the fun. Leather bolstered seats lock you in during the spirited, potentially licence revoking blast through the twisties, but are also surprisingly comfortable over a long period of time. The interior features are both ergonomic and stylish. Road noise is apearant, but with the suspension and tires this car sports, the noise is surprisingly minimal. The Bose sound system is impressive for a stocker, and the storage space is more than adequite. I am 6' 3" tall and have two car seats in the back of mine, prooving that there is actually some decent leg room in both the front and rear seats. I could go on and on about this little "hot-hatch". Over all, I'd say the difficult line of practical daily usability mixed with performance was masterfully conquored by the folks at Mazda with their "wild child" known as the Speed3

Pros: Power, handling, practical usability and one of the best looking hatch's ever.

Cons: The car doesn't feel like its going 90 when it actually is.  Potential ticket hazard!

Amazing — After I test drove this car, I couldn't stop thinking about it. It has so much power- 263 hp and 260 lbft of torque... it's truly a beast. I read in several car magazines that torque-steer is an issue because of all of that torque going to the front wheels, but it's really not that bad if you are used to driving front drive cars. It's also a practical car because of all of the space, and once you put it into 6th on the highway it just becomes a cruiser and quiet. It's good stuff

Pros: Huge power, practical, handles turns like a champ

Cons: If you aren't used to front-wheel drive, you might be complaining about torque steer

Fast Speed — I liked the style and performance from it being stock. Makes power really easy, and turns heads everywhere I go from the sound of the exhaust to the sound of the turbo. Shifts really smooth and needs nothing. I like this car

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Makes power easy.

Cons: Performance stuff is expensive but worth it

Wish I Never Got Rid Of This Car.... — I loved this car for the 77,000 miles that I owned it. I installed a Cobb Accessport and Cobb Downpipe, along with their intake and a front mount intercooler and the car made around 290 wheel horsepower and 330 torque on a conservative dyno. I also averaged about 28 mpg per tank on my commute, I could get 30+ if it was all highway. It was lots of fun, decent space inside, and I would buy another.... Currently waiting to see what "Mazdaspeed" comes out next for 2015+, along with the Subaru STi, & Mitsubishi EVO.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great power, great price, great handling, and even good MPG when you are out of the throttle (I averaged 30 mpg highway).

Cons: If you are into modding, be aware of the PCV/vacuum issue - a downpipe install could cause a smoking turbo.  The only issues I had was the fuel pump wasn't up to par around 65,000 miles (for my boost levels), and the shocks/struts went around 50,000 (but I sometimes had a hitch with 3 bikes on it which probably didn't help).

Nearly Perfect — Best Bang for the Buck. First in class overall in performance. Acceleration, braking , handling make this a fun car. It is also a practical car with the hatchback design. Ride is firm but not uncomfortable, MPG is good for performance car (18 to 31MPG) depending on how heavy you foot is. No problems in over a year. Needed more room so no longer own. Two years and no problems with the Speed3. Great car.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Speed, handling, practical and economical considering the performance.

Cons: Torque steer (fairly well controlled), transmission shift gate and action could be better.
