Fun To Drive For Its Size — The acceleration and handling is awesome for the size of the car. Parking would not be a problem. The ride is pretty sporty, feels like you're driving inside an R/C car, but its def. fun to drive.

Pros: Its MINI =D interior is very sporty

Cons: Handling is a bit loose, acceleration reaction time is slow to my taste.

Neither Rain Nor Sleet Nor Dark Of Night...i'll Never Put The Top Up, Never! — This is an amazingly fun vehicle...roomier than I suspected. When I took my bro in law and niece for a ride the rear seat space was no problem. She is a 5'8" and had no problem in the back seat. (She now wants one and my bro in law is not happy with me!) I LOVE THIS CAR!

Owner for 0 years, 1 months

Miles Driven per Year:1,200

Pros: Overall, very pleased, especially with the car and dealership (Global Imports - Atlanta, GA, and my amazing sales associate John S.)

Cons: Some problem with blind spot thru rear window, but have solved by adding magnifiers on the sideview mirrors.

Great Car For Educated Buyer. — Great all around car.. great fuel economy. great customization options great handling and safety feature. Contains Convenience package, Cold weather package, and premium package. customer blue interior and back exterior with white roof and mirrors with white customer sports stripes. recommend education before purchase. know to change and check oil at regular intervals and know how to read dipstick properly. after 60 to 70k miles replace thermostat house gasket. can cost 500 dollars from dealer but if you are willing to fix it yourself and waste 3 hours can be replaced for 15 dollars and can replace housing for 130 dollars with part from dealer stock.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Amazing Mini Handling.  Fun to drive.  Front seats comfortable for any size rider. Amazing performance and power for size.   Great look and customization feature.

Cons: Lack of information from dealers about turbo maintenance and oil check requirements.  This model requires a person be informed on how to maintain the vehicle checking oil every 2 weeks for the turbo.   No spare tire area on the S model.  Run flat tires loud and annoying.  Removed them to replace with regular tires but then no spare for use in case of flat or road hazard.

Overlooking Its Shortcomings, It's A Very Fun Car. — I smile every time I get into this car. Fabulous power and handling, as many people have said - this car is a rocket on wheels with go-kart handling - a real live RC car for adults. I own the turbo charged model, and that's the way to go. Even though I need to put premium gasoline in it, I average 34 miles to the gallon. I love, love, love driving it, however these cars are... fussy. This is not a car you can just get in and drive it while neglecting regular maintenance. If you do regular oil/belt/fluid changes, you're good, but if not, repairs are very expensive. If you have time and energy to baby the car, it's absolutely fabulous!

Pros: Lots of fun little features, great power and handling, overall, great fun to drive.

Cons: This is not a family car. There is barely any trunk, no backseat to speak of. You MUST keep up on the maintenance or shell out some serious cash for repairs.

Excellent — Car is so fast it's scary. If it were a horse it would definitely not be a novice ride. I have owned my mini for about 5 months now and everytime i drive it it feels like the first time, the novelty has still not worn off yet. It is so responsive and holds the road like a dream. Ever trip is so much fun in the Mini and the whole family love it too. It is a solid car with lots of extras. It also feels a very very safe car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The power when you accelerate is impressive

Cons: Dont hate anything about my Mini, well only that it likes fuel.

Great Car, Great Design, I'm Buying Another One. — True to the MINI tradition. I think the electrical steering isn't quite as direct feeling as the hydraulic in the 03-06 models, but the the turbo screams power, the cabin became more comfortable and the technology improved. It's a great car and I'm getting ready to buy another one, so I suppose that says something.

Pros: Great acceleration and fuel economy. Great navigation and technology. Beautiful finish.

Cons: Sport suspension is pretty firm. Handling has to be a real priority for you.

Forever Young — Remember your obsession with toy cars and how you would move them around, enjoy their shiny colors, and open and close their doors constantly. Remember your first time in a kart and how you would swift among others with excitement while the engine is buzzing right behind you. If you ever feel nostalgic, or you wish to feel young again, the Cooper S is the right car for you. Knock out sedans and SUVs at stop light races with an impressive acceleration of 7.2 seconds to 100 km/h, and impress the ladies when you're cruising near the beach while others try hard in their average looking cars. Enjoy nothing less than great quality interior and equipment perfected by the Germans at BMW with lots of options to select from, in addition to excellent fuel economy thanks to a turbocharged 1.6L engine.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: The Go-Kart feeling, Looks, Performance

Cons: Pricey and not exactly practical
