The Best Ride Ever! — It has been an awesome car. It has a powerful engine and in sport mode the handling is twice as much fun to drive! It has a spacious cargo area in back with the back seats down which is great for traveling with pets, luggage or whatever!!!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Mini drives and handles like no other, It is a fun car to drive! The gas mileage is excellent. 35-40MPG.

Cons: None

Bottoms Up Is My Bottom Line On This Car. — I love MINIS. Lets face it! This is the best-looking economy car on the market. Nothing comes close to performance and drve-ability. My only complaint is that you are more likely to get a speeding ticket driving a Mini. The manufacturer ought to do something about that.

Pros: What is there not to like?

Cons: Are we talking about a MINI?

I Love My Mini — If you are looking for the perfect car for your midlife crisis, but you just were never really that cool in high school? Don't fool yourself with a Viper or Corvette. Stick with a MINI Cooper and you will impress without overcompensating for, um, other smaller packages.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The ability to handle the road is fabulous.

Cons: The back seats are merely for show. There is no way a family of three (or four) could use this as their family car.

Mighty Tyrese — *Performance - Strong brakes, a fast gettaway car and you'll have no problems dodging people and/or other cars. When on the highway you don't feel you're driving fast! *Build Quality - In the 4 years I've been driving it, it has only needed the usual check-ups and one light bulb replaced... *Appearance - Cool car, but a true girly car... Both exterior as interior is made for a woman. *Cost of Ownership - For a small car is has a huge tank. Makes it more expensive than your average small car, but you do longer with one tank... *Fun Factor - I love to drive this car! It's small, so excellent for the city, and fast, so you don't feel like a snail on the highway.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Brilliant car to drive with! Wouldn't want any other

Cons: When the passenger seat isn't in the right position, it can take away some of your visibility.
On the highway you don't feel how fast you're driving... It doesn't really suck at the time, unless you get a fine :D

Mini (willy) — Have owned our MINI Cooper (Willy) for 3 years and he has been an excellent, not really practical, but we knew that when we bought him as a second car. Would definitely buy another. Fuel consumption not that good as are the rear seats and boot.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Love the car and will replace him with another

Cons: Fuel Consumption

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a MINI!!

Cons: Backseat - but I'm never in it!

Very Good All Rounder Although Styling Is A Bit Iffy — This was my driving instructors car so I did not have to deal with maintainence or costs but it was very nice to drive. Steering is fast and light, gearbox is very satisfying to use and smooth, decent power means good acceleration and no problems on the motorway. Styling wise I find it mostly nice but it just feels a bit too rounded and soft looking, I prefer the classic true mini from the 60's but this is a decent rehash and maintains the look but it's perhaps too retro. The interior is a very nice place to be though again the retro styling can be a bit too much at some points. Build quality was good, there were never any major mechanical issues while I was using it although some of the casing did come off the handbrake handle when another student was using the car. The car is very grippy and the aformentioned acceleration means you can have a lot of fun with this car especially on rural roads, the car is also very easy to park and use in tight situations.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Feels very light, modern and crisp

Cons: Styling is a bit hit and miss

Great Car To Drive But Hard To Drive Slowly — For a Small car this car is amazing to drive. the engine is very powerful for the horsepower and size of the car. very cheap to maintain especially with Mini maintenance program. Not too much Gas consumption. Very Fun to drive

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: very fun to drive, easily get through trafic

Cons: there are too many on the road

Why I Love Magnum... — I've been very impressed with the drivablity of the Mini. I drove a Miata for years and thought that no other car would make me as happy as my Miata did, but I was wrong! It is a completely different drive from the Miata, but just as fun!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: I love hearing the blow-off valve

Cons: I miss having a convertable
