Fast, Quiet, Solid — Very quiet inside, very very fast, amazing steering and brakes. Great Nav and ergonomics. Very stable at high speed and during windy conditions. Needs rain-sensing wipers, adjustable pedals, midrange control on Audio System, and DRL's. I love how it blips the throttle when you downshift via the titanium paddles. Waiting for snow to sample the AWD system.

Pros: Acceleration, Handling, Quite Interior

Cons: Lacks some feature of Competition but is priced lower too.

Pure Power — drove this one as a rental. smooth driving, almost too much power. not much legroom though. pulls you back in your seat when pushing accellerator. too much power for the car though. not sure if i want one. wife would be speeding all the time.. its a dream not come true...

Pros: pure power

Cons: pure power

2008 G35 — Good acceleration, braking and handling. Exhaust note sounds great OUTSIDE of the car but sounds like a coffee grinder inside. Build Quality is impeccable and its cheap to won. Reasonable gas mileage for a high powered 6, only maintenance that was unscheduled was balancing the tires and alignment after installing aftermarket rims and tires

Pros: Great performance, Bose stereo and IPod connection

Cons: coffee grinder engine sound inside car

G35s 6mt First Impressions — Performance - so far the performance seems great. Still in the break-in period, so can't wait to break her loose. Build - solid body, no problems so far Appearance - clean lines, ergonomics Cost - Great performance/cost ratio Fun - With the 6MT, great fun to throw around, what more do you want? So far so good, hopefully will get even more fun to drive after the first 1000 miles.

Pros: Engine, aesthetics, fun

Cons: Low gearing, but I guess that adds to the "fun" part

Reccomend 2008 G35 Sedan, Journey — Great car, I had a 2006 and it was also great. I would suggest this car, it is a great value for the money. Performance is fantastic, ride is smooth but not too smooth that you don't feel like you are not driving. There is plenty of room for 2 car seats in the rear too.

Pros: Value, performance, size

Cons: Gas mileage is not great, I average 18.5 blended

G35x Wins Out Over C300 —

Rating: I did not give it 5 stars or the highest rating in all categories because there is not perfect car. There is always room for improvement. After visiting every dealership in North Jersey this round came down to an Infiniti G35x and Mercedes C300 Sport 4Matic. I really liked the C300 but there were a few things that turned me off. First was the attitude of Mercedes (Prestige Rt17 Paramus) . I purposely went shopping in a pare of shorts t-shirt and a hat. It is very interesting to see the different responses dealerships and the people the work in them give. The attitude of Mercedes is, we are the best, you should bow down and kiss our feet to drive our cars. We will sell you whatever is on our lot and not go out of our way to accommodate you. Maybe this is the reason people continue to go to other manufacturers. Beside a good friend that used to work there told me not to buy one due to the mechanical problems. I would still like to, and will own one some day. The G35x seemed to offer more standard features and hoarsepower over the C300 and a lot less attitude. Made the final deal over the phone at Ramsey Infiniti and picked it up the next day. So far so good. Have had it about a month. It costs a lot less than the Tahoe gas guzzler I turned in. I only have to fill it up once a week at a cost of around 60-70 bucks. Still down 40-50 over the tahoe. At first I hated it. I thought it was stiff and felt everything. Now that is has broken in a bit, I enjoy the way it sticks to the road and corners on rails. The inside is like a plane cockpit. Everything is right at your finger-tips. I have spent the last month loading a few CD's at a time into the built in MusicBox. At first it was a little confusing, but after playing I have figured it out. I still have my 60gig ipod hooked up and connectivity with my iPhone is a breeze. Some improvements would be the ability to load music directly off the compact flash card. Overall I am very happy. I will provide an update in the future. Remember: In ones lifetime you get around 18 opportunities to try different vehicles. Enjoy the experience and get the one that you want, and well can afford.

Pros: The Technology, handling, cornering, sound and response.

Cons: wish it was a bit bigger.  After coming from a Tahoe, it is significantly smaller.  But it does fit in the garage.

Rail Gun Acceleration; Leave First Born At Pump. — Man this car is fast. And boy does it have grip. Got my G35x (all wheel drive) in January 2008 with blizzaks and it still performs great. I upgraded from a 2005 G35x which was nice but much rougher around the edges than this car. The engine has been improved from 298 to 306 Hp, and the interior quality is superb. I prefer the rounded edges on this one too. No problems so far. I've changed the oil after the break in period and am running full synthetic. No more change till 10000kms. The only negative is that the car is a bit thirsty. With a 68 L tank it cost me almost $90 to fill it the other day. It runs premium fuel. That being said, I get more joy out of each litre than I ever did from any vehcile I drove for any length of time in the past (in order: 78 Mercury Grand Marquis Woody Wagon, 86 Ford Tempo, 87 Chevy Camaro, 98 Ford Taurus, 92 GMC Safari, 92 Toyota Tercel, 97 Subaru Outback, 2005 Infiniti G35x).

Pros: Hold on to your face fast.  Even around corners!

Cons: Monthly fuel costs could lease you a mazda3.

Kickass Ride — I drove this on two occasions while getting my car serviced at the dealership. There's a reason this car wins comparisons, it's really good. Engine revs fast and feels really urgent, really pushes you back. handling is top notch (yes I do push it until it runs outta tire grip). I can't feel the VDC grabbing the brakes at all - I only know it's working when I turn it off and the tail comes out. Sound system is the best ever. Only thing I would complain about is how the throttle is hard to control, you press a little bit and nothing happens, Once you get to its threshold, it explodes. Another complait I have is how small the rear window is, I'm always in fear of running over pedestrians while backing up.

Pros: Engine, transmission, handling, sound system

Cons: throttle control, i only had it for 2 day, rearward visibility
