I had an H3 years ago, and enjoyed it allot. It compares to other midsize 4wd vehicles at half the price of many especially jeeps. However you cant take the top or the doors off. Atleast not without a saw. The sun roof is big and for me sufficient. I understand there were a few models that had a power rear window, unfortunately this one did not. Great little package. (Thats what she said)!

Great GM mechanics. Reliable and capable. Not a Colorado as the chassis was considerably changed. It looks better than other GM cars of the era,

Stylish — Great truck for the weekend in the back country. There is the cold air intake and throttle body spacer that can be installed that can give you 2-4 more miles to the gallon. I recommend to not install a roof cargo basket if you dont need it. The basket decreases your MPG.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Solid on road exceptional off road.  Plenty of torque climbing up dirt mountain roads.

Cons: Not much of cargo space

Outstanding Suv, Unlimited Driving Access — HEAD room is limited, but the it drives like a car, gas mileage like a midsize pick up truck, 4 wheel drive comfort in all driving conditions make this an excellent car to own. Adult friendly, but not very kid friendly.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Smooth Ride

Cons: Gas Mileage

Favorite Vehicle Ever Owned! — The Hummer H3 doesn't disappoint! It rides like a luxury car and gives great safety for the driver in road visibility for driver, as well as, visibility of you to other drivers on the road! Hate that Hummer stopped production...it will will hard to top by any other manufacturer.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The smooth ride and zero radius turn makes this Luxury SUV a great riding and driving vehicle.

Cons: The 16 MPG doesn't make it the most fuel efficient vehicle on the road, but the comfort, towing, storage/passenger capacity and size safety offset the gas mileage, that really doesn't differ from any other full size SUV or pick-up.

Strong Yet Stylish — The Hummer H3 is a great utilitarian vehicle with incredible style and strength. The all-time 4WD handles beautifully on and off the road. You sit up high on the road and have good visibility. The rear cargo area has ample space to store your gear for any type of adventure. I highly recommend this for the outdoor enthusiast who also likes to look classy driving downtown.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Awesome styling, excellent handling and overall comfort married to utilitarian brawn.

Cons: Not so kind to the wallet on MPG.
