Zippy Little Car With Suprising Amount Of Room. — This is my first new car and its a reliable well performing car. Its light and small so the engine actually has a lot of pick up for its size. Being small is great for New York Parking and the MPG just make the deal sweeter. The size on the outside does not mirror the inside. Its spacious and comfy interior are really well designed. Great Handling on turns and acceleration. Overall a great car.

Pros: Small size with large interior, great MPG, does not lack power and acceleration and a fun drive.

Cons: Interior dash takes a little getting use to, but you later start to love its innovative design. No lumbar support.

The Most Fun U Can Have With 4 Doors — Yes the reveiw that I have given my car is great but it is what it is...this car is very good for the money. It has plenty of pull on the road, it's great looking, handles and fits very well. i could go on and on, there are a couple of things that i don't like about the car besides the fact that I can't drive it enough. The ride is alittle choppy but of course that is to be expected, it is a "sports car". don't let the extra couple of doors fool you for all you "all show no go" boys and girls out on the streets this car has plenty of both with 200 horse 2 more doors, they don't hold her back at all. One more thing...if you wanna play, you are gonna have to pay. Once this little one opens up she is alot of fun but playing around town she likes to burn alittle fuel.

Pros: great handling, excellent preformance, seats fit very well, alot of room for it's size, great overall value

Cons: ride is alittle choppy but is too be expected, runs on premium, doesn't warm up fast enough at idle

2008 Honda Civic Si MugenReview

Fast And Practical — The 2008 Honda Civic SI Mugen is basically a Honda Civic SI with new body including rear fin, Racing wheel/pedals, short shifter, Cat-Back exhaust, Vtech 2.0L 4-cyl engine, and Mugen suspension. Doesn't sound basic and the ride is far from it. It screams to 87, after which it feels more like the Honda vehicles I've known and loved for years. However, give me a winding residential street and I can hang with a Porsche! For an older guy like myself, it also gives the practicality I need with 21/29 mpg and 4 doors (have kids - need 4 doors). Totally love it.

Pros: Fast, beautiful, sounds great

Cons: acceleration not as good above 87. Could use more HP.

Just What I Wanted — Mine is an LX Automatic [not one of the trim options listed]. I purchased the car in mid-October in a bit of a rush after totalling my 2004 Camry. My primary objective was something economical to drive back & forth to work. So far I like essentially everything about it, although the driver's head rest took some getting used to. I like the driver's seat and steering column adjustment and the atomic blue color. The large digital speedometer means no more nagging about how fast the spouse is driving. Cruise control is so easy to set I use it almost all the time. The biggest surprise has been the gas mileage. With holiday and event travel we've put nearly 2000 miles on it. I drive "gently" -- no fast take-offs, no hard stops -- and so far am getting about 33 mpg around town and 41 on the highway. I also like all the built in security features and monitoring of the oil, the tire pressure, etc.

Owner for 0 years, 2 months

Pros: Very roomy inside and very easy to drive.

Cons: A bit noisy on the interstate. Relatively small gas tank [but I'm used to a Camry!].

Best Vehicle On The Road! — The honda civic is the best car that i have ever owned, they last the longest even though the body goes and they handle well in any road condition. The 2006 and up are very roomy and have a bigger body than the other civics and quiet with smooth ride. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone that is thinking about buying a new car. Now all vehicles are equipped w/a v-tec so the performance is better and the quality of the body is better with more metal. I havent had anything done to it besides replacing brake pads and regular maintenance as well as tires. The interior of the civic is bigger with comfier seats and a really great set up on the dashboard w/ the 2 tier gauge setup that is easy to read. This car overall is a blast to drive and a head turner, for those who want a cheap price but great quality vehicle this car is the one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas mileage, price, longevity, and overall low maintenence

Cons: Body dies before the motor dies!!!!!!

I Like It Very Much And Next My Car Will Be Honda Accord Type S :) (wanna More Power). — Great acceleration for 1.8l engine. Braking is good, but quickly heat up when active driving. Appearance is amazing inside and outside, I enjoy it every day. It is a big pleasure and fun to drive this car. It is my first car and I' happy with my choice.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is more than car.

Cons: I can't say anything bad about my car.

Happy I Bought The Honda Civic 2008 — I like the stance of the car. It dose look like it's moving fast event when it is standing still. Good performance for a 30 mpg overall car Minor internal rattles, road noice maybe a concern I like the styling - the digital gauges, tacho, interior space Fun factor - Good feedback from the wheel, capable of fast cornering Not a good drift car...did three corners and I was more shaky than I've ever been before....if you want to drift, get a RWD

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Sporty but elegant

Cons: Low ground clearence

2008 Honda Civic EX Review
Jeremy says:
I had my 2008 Civic from 2009 through 2017. We were quickly approaching 300k miles and this thing showed zero signs of giving up anytime soon. It got great gas mileage, never needed anything more than regular maintenance, and still liked to be thrown around with the best of them. The interior was falling apart, bodywork too, and that thing just didnt want to quit.
