You Get More Than You Pay For With A Si — Like - Quick reving engine, comfortable interior, lots of room for a small car, great gas mileage. The LSD really works well. This is a car that likes mountain roads. You can hit the gas without much worry. It really sticks to the pavement. The harder you hit the gas coming out of the corners the better it likes it. Doubles as a nice commute car. If you don't mind a slightly stiff suspension for commuting this is a perfect car. I own muscle cars and this is just as nice in a different way. Interior is clean and fun. Doesn't seem cheap at all. I like the extra room over my 350Z but, I do miss the power. The trade off is 5mpg better mileage and 10-15K cheaper price tag. I'd do it again.... ;-)

Pros: Great performance for a economy car

Cons: Front window pillar can limit vision during aggressive driving.... Otherwise, great car !!!

My Review On My Family's 2008 Honda Civic — The most quiet and amazing car I ever seen (From this car class). our car is in beige color and grey interior - a perfect match. I really love the temp' screen, the electronic speed screen and the fuel per Km screen.

Pros: Everything

Cons: Almost nothing

Honda Mugen Si — I echo the remarks of the previous write-ups but I also need to speak up about the great sport SI seats and the slick shifting 6 speed. The build quality, exhaust note, wheels and tires, body kit, suspension, and limited slip dif all add up to a 9 out of 10 car. Comparing this to a VW GTI, or Mini Works, and this will rock without the crazy costs for maintenance. The cost to operate is outstanding considering it gets over 30 MPG on the highway and the already known reliability of the Civic makes this a winner. My only areas for improvement, engine power, brake kit, and where are the driving lights?

Pros: appearance, seats, transmission, exhaust note, suspension and responsive feedback.

Cons: more power (only has 197=203)

2008 Civic Lx — This car has very good gas mileage (33 MPG mixed), great handling, and even very good standard features. The back seat folds down so that you can haul stuff. The stereo plays MP3 CDs, and it has an Aux. Input jack to boot. Great choice for excellent mileage and very good handling.

Pros: Gas mileage, room

Cons: Acceleration

My Latest Car - 2008 Honda Civic — Great gas mileage (I get 37 mpg around town). I really like the auto sunroof. Steering wheel feels great in the hands (it also tilts and telescopes) and the 5 speed at least gives you a feeling of driving something close to a real sports car. Not a read tire burner performance wise but definately not a slouch. Seating is very comfortable and the seats not only recline and go back and forth but they can also be raised and lowered. Has the best factory radio/cd player I ever had plus a plug in for MP3 players. The 16 inch rims give the body some visual balance (ever see an older car w/13 inch rims?) and make it handle very well. It's fun to drive and feels kind of wierd as you cannot see any portion of the hood. Only complaint is that for a person of my size (6 foot, 265 pounds) it's rather hard to get into but once inside, I have all the room I need.

Pros: Looks, Interior, Radio, gas mileage

Cons: ease of entry

Great Driver's Car........fire Your Chauffer — The acceleration and braking are both great. The car is essentially a driver's delight. Cant say the same though for fellow passengers with less than required sound proofing. The automatic is very responsive with its gearsshift and is very responsive according to driving style...if not enjoy the paddleshift, which takes some time to get used to.

Pros: Great Acceleration and braking

Cons: Not enough passenger comfort for its class

Best In Class! — i tested this car early this year. i couldn't live with the camry any longer and thought that i could downsize. it came down to this, the accord, and the altima. this car is peppy and fun to drive, and i think that it is a great car. i would love to have one!

Pros: i like it better than some midsize cars, good engine, powertrain, reliability, crash tests, standard abs, fuel economy, inexpensive, handling, interior comfort.

Cons: no esc.

2008 Honda Civic Si — Dirt cheap. Highly reliable. Handles well. Quick acceleration. Good brakes. Manual transmission a joy. Gas mileage not as high as I had been led to expect, real-life experience of low 20's mixed driving. Build quality seems high, if not too ambitious. Fit and finish fine. I think the lack of many extras included on my old BMW 740i(!) is an advantage. Examples: Controls for hvac are simple, rather than elaborate—i.e., no separate controls for right and left side. No wiper on rear window. No stopwatch on dashboard. Good leg room for a 76" tall gentleman of nearly 260 lbs! Good fun, quite happy.

Pros: Cheap, reliable, handling, quickness, fun to drive...

Cons: Gas mileage no great, in low 20's.

The Safe Choice, But Not Necessarily The Most Exciting —

I was somewhat excited to drive this version of the Honda Civic when it was new. I did get my opportunity to drive a 2006, so it kind of disappointed me and left me with a less than favourable impression of Honda. The 2007 and 2008 versions are exactly the same as the 2006 I've driven all those model years anyways. The best things in my mind from the Civic was visually. From the outside it was a good attempt by Honda to make a Civic stand out instead of being a derivative of the Accord or vice-versa. I was more impressed with the inside where a automaker finally had the courage to re-introduce the digital dash, no second guessing analog nonsense. After all I do drive a car with a digital dash, Toyota was dumb to not continue its very reliable digital dash. Its clear Honda uses 21st century technology to make this interior, the digi dash is so much cleaner and easy to read over even the good 80s digi dashes. The plastics are actually quite good too. So I did like the interior. To drive...this is where I thought the Civic faltered. Power...if you drive the automatic version you will notice the transmission sapping power for your highway driving. In the city its actually a bit too jumpy, but for those high speeds the transmission is happy to delay your reach to 100 km/h when you feel its so close to that point. The handling surprised me as well, this felt on par with the 2003-2008 Corollas only difference was less body roll, more understeer. I heard Honda made this Civic more comfort oriented than the past, that is true this was the most comfortable Honda I driven...until I drove the Fit. Steering feel...one of the rare times where the Toyota Coroll(2003-2008)a had a bit more, Toyota of course not wanting to be defeated here made a more duller to drive car(2009). Bottom line for me is, I'd take a Fit over the Civic. Very similar cars the difference is the Fit is the better performer with the only sacrifice being power, the cool digi dash and some space. In its own class...no contest the Mazda3 is my choice this is a distant second.

Pros: Decent exterior styling, very nice somewhat advanced interior, does all the things a regular should do well on

Cons: Automatic transmission is ready to steal the engine's power, handling is disappointing
