Great Little Work Horse, Good Gas Mileage. — Not very fast but at the end of the day... its a work truck and I'd give it 5 stars for that. Its built tough, and has been put through its paces. Exterior is ok. I got the pick up bed sprayed with colour matched Line-x bedline both inside the bed and outside. along with tool boxes and ladder rack. Pretty cheap to run on gas, compared to the avergage canadian truck. Great 2 person truck, plenty of room, and enough room to store things in behind the front seats. Once all my equipment is off the truck, its nippy and pretty quick.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: cheap to run, good work horse!!

Cons: Only big enough for 2 men.

Very Good Truck With The Only Minus Being The Gas Mileage — I like the powerful V6 engine and quick acceleration and the ability to haul that I didn't have in the Mazda. My only complaint is that the gas mileage could be better but with a pickup truck with a 4.0l V6 and 4.10 gear ratio in the rear poor mileage is to be expected. It is a very fun vehicle to drive because for a pickup truck it handles quite well with its rack and pinion steering.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Powerful engine, strong, and reliable

    Cons: Gas mileage

Danger Ranger — It's the only compact truck left other than the Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon. The 2.3 litre four cylinder runs with merry abandon and gets 23.5 mpg in HARD driving. The truck wasn't very responsive to throttle inputs until I put a Flowmaster 50 series muffler with dual outlets, sounds great also. The manual transmission isn't smooth but could be worse. Handling is good, rear axle sidestep mid-turn is inevitable but not dangerous. It's a solid and cheap truck that might be worth more than I'm paying for it. I bought it new with 10 miles on the odometer and had one problem; the turn signal stalk split at the mold seam at about 12,000 miles. The seats are functional and have minimal support for anything over 5/10ths in turns. Other than that it's a good little truck that won't be replaced anytime soon.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good handling for a truck, decent mpg's, sticker price (and rebates)

Cons: Seats leave something to be desired, ditto crosswind stability

I Am Pleased To Drive The Ranger — I could not ask for a better made truck. I pull a 13 foot Ventura trailer with ease, good mileage in the city and a nice ride. I love the truck. I used to drive foreign cars but never again! Ford for me!

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Quality small truck

    Cons: No Cruise

I Love It. — Like all new Fords, the brakes 'chirp' at only 20,000 miles of wear. The gas mileage is roughly around 17-20 mpg. The truck was a bit pricey for being so small though. But it was worth it. Its really hard to keep clean though with it being black.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: If you want a truck but don't need anything as big as an F-150.

    Cons: Ford brakes and transmission

08 Ford Ranger Sport — Good gas mileage, great highway mileage. Build quality is great. Fun to drive, goes pretty well anywhere I want to go. Good for camping, box can handle all camping gear. Drives great, awesome acceleration, braking and handling. Nice contrast between the exterior black colour and the interior black/grey colour. Vinyl floor makes it easy to clean.

Pros: Gorgeous colour, good highway gas mileage.

Cons: City gas mileage not the greatest.

Best Quality For The Price! — If i keep in mind that other makers sell their pickups for 3000$ to 4000$ more, i have to admit that it's the best value on the market. I have the V6 4.0 L, and it never fails to deliver, even fully loaded. The gas mileage is not so bad, but if i put the pedal down, you can almost see the pennys flying out of the exhaust LOL!!! But gladly, i have a 5 speed manual so i can minimize gas consumption. Quality is a good old ford, with it's old mechanics. Cheap but easy to repair with low cost pieces (have to think in long terms). Appearance is great, mine arrived to my dealer with racing stripes, so i've had them for free (i had to choose between white and orange or wait 6-8 weeks to have it blue). So i'm really enjoying my first brand new vehicule, handles well, fun to drive, comfortable seats and not so bad on gasoline. altough i think other makers make better vehicule (if i could afford it i'd have a nissan frontier) I'm giving it a 9/10 on the overall beacause of the low price that counter balance the loss of quality.

Pros: Best price compared to other makers

Cons: Big motor with low hp compared to other pickup trucks

Great Little Truck! — Great little truck! Good for bombin around town! Pretty good gas mileage. Slow acceleration- especially uphill, but its all good. Very cute truck- it's Grabber Orange- AWESOME color for a truck. Fun little truck to drive, comfortable to drive compared to some. Automatic engine makes it great for a hilly area- especially cause it has hill-grab. Its a great feature.

Pros: Cute, Small, Easy to Park.

    Cons: Slow Accel.
