If Your Budget Cant Put You In A Gt The V6 Is Great Especially For Young Car Enthusiasts — While you dont really get the feel the v8 gives, the v6 can be just as fun to drive with the right modifications. Not to mention the price of insurance is way lower and the cost of gas as well. With a minor rear end mod or gt 8.8 swap this little 6er performs quite well.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Looks, Muscle car feel, best power for its price.

Cons: Not the best in comfort for those sitted in the back.

The Beautiful Catastrophe — Perhaps my review is a bit harsh, but this car really kinda ticks me off. It looks alright, but it is sluggish and a terrible car for the rough roads of downtown Houston. It is my baby and have given it a couple of upgrades in the past, none of which passed my insurance company standards for a seventeen year old. A good and reliable car for a teenager but you will really just look silly driving it if you are older than twenty three.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: looks great, great functionality

Cons: slower than a comparable hyundai or honda, engine is out of the ninetys

Murder 1 — What's a Camaro? I think it's the best out of the pony cars. The Challenger looks nice but it's a little too big and overdone. The Mustang is the best balanced of the three. The interior is nice and retro along with the exterior. Although it consumes a lot of fuel it's relatively easy on the maintenance. The car is fast and surprisingly easy to handle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Looks scary

Cons: Door subwoofers lead to annoying vibration.

Best Mustang For The Money. — I've driven lots of Mustangs but this is the best I've ever driven. Great performance - yet not so harsh that it can't be used as a daily driver. Slick - cool and I'm sure Steve McQueen would love it! It'll run with a Shelby GT and if the driver is on his game - he'll leave the Shelby in the dust!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Weekend Warrior & daily driver

Cons: Haven't found one yet

My Favorite Car... — 5,000 miles and it is flawless so far. The 315 horses are utilized fully with sticky rubber. It is nimble, and handles with ease. It is faster than the challenger r/t and the camaro, and still gets 28 mpg on the highway. Its always a blast to drive

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: it isn't flashy

Cons: 3rd gear lock out

Sex On Wheels — Perfect combination of style, performance, and speed. I've been a fan of Mustangs since I was a child, and the 2005-2009 model is unarguably the greatest of the family. Would recommend to anyone who is in the market for a new car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Smooth drive, beautiful design, immaculate performance.

Cons: Only two cup holders.

Epona — Epona Performance- 315hp at the fly right now (extra 10hp due to Borla Stinger Cat-backs) Build Quality- Above average, not without its flaws though Appearance- I love the lines of this car, it has a very natural looking flow to it. Cost of Ownership-Decent....gets about 20mpg on average. Fun Factor-Its a Mustang...need I say more?

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Easily modifiable, a blast to drive, great styling

Cons: Needs a few more horses and taller gears wouldn't hurt either

If You Don't Have A Problem With A Live Rear Axle And Wanna Go Fast, Go For It. — Great straight line performance. You can't beat it for the price. It doesn't corner too well stock - I get a lot of wheel hop and cornering can be pretty exciting if you think you might slip. I haven't had any large problems so far, but I haven't had it too long. An interior screw was out the first week I had it, which was not cool. It was in the trunk, though, so not a huge deal. I love Mustangs. This year especially looks so aggressive. The interior is alright, with some nice touches. The seats could hold a bit better, though. 20 mpg, which is pretty good for the performance. I saw about 18 before I got my cold air intake and had Brenspeed tune it. SO MUCH FUN.

Pros: Fast off the line

Cons: Want to corner? Too bad.

Overall Good Car —

Overall it is a very good car, but not perfect. It is a pony car with some muscle and does not disappoint when it comes to torque. The car is heavy, but feels much lighter; handling is pretty sweet despite the live rear axle, which does pose some problems during rainy conditions, but what rear wheel drive car doesn't? The engine is built for anything as you can pop a turbo or supercharger on the car without even upgrading anything else first. Although, it would be recommended that you do change out the exhaust and drop some weight to maximize performance. It looks good on the outside, but the plastics on the inside were not upgraded until the current generation, so the inside is just ok. The sport bucket seats are less than desireable, but do hold the driver in and the car is good for short trips, but definitely not something you want for anything longer than 3 hours. The outside body style is much more masculine than it has been in the past years. With the added fender flares, the car has more of a muscle car stance. Stock, the car should sit a bit lower, but that is just personal preferance. The quarter window has so many possibilities and the overall visibility is very good considering it is a sports car. The way I have mirrors set, I really don't have much of a blind spot unless some little smart car comes riding beside me on the express way, which never happens.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Best bang for buck, cheapest V8 going

Cons: Cheap interior
