Would Easily Own Another One — Love this car to bits... The onlly "nag" that I have is that the seat belt reminder ticks me off!!! >:( Very cheap to run - averaging around 6.7L p/100km - not too shabby at all - with a bit o punch to boot...

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: PocketRocket

    Cons: Seat Belt Alert

Drivers Car — Good car to drive...but in India Ford has a lot to do with its after sales service....too expensive parts and few service centres are a problem ford customers often complain...but its a great car to drive. Completely a drivers car.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Drivers Car

Cons: After Sales service of Ford...too expensive

Good But Looking It's Age And Rivals Are Slowly Moving The Game On. — Performance ain't great but good for a 1.6 diesel. It's got plenty of room, and handles well - the RS version didn't need many suspension upgrades. Cheap road tax and company car tax sold the car to me and it doesn't look bad. Just wish Ford weren't so stingy on the equipment.

Pros: Cheap to run as a company car and fun to drive.

Cons: Many rivals offer better equipment and build quality.

Back To The Basics — Decent, basic car. No power anything. The build quality is what you would expect of a new vehicle. Great on gas, and with the warranty maintenance isn't so bad. To me the automatic transmission seems to shift sluggishly. But then again, I'm used to the harder shifts of my Z24 Cavalier. car would be better with some performance upgrades or a nice 5 speed.

Pros: Spacious, Great MPG, 2 doors

    Cons: sluggish transmission, power deprived

Sick Car — The good: Ford's Sync system gives the 2008 Focus SES one of the most sophisticated media and communications interfaces available. Freeway mileage is impressive. The bad: The Focus' interior borders on being drab, and its stereo suffers from a few usability niggles.

    Pros: drivability

    Cons: standard interior is lame

Definately The Best Car I've Driven So Far. — Having had an older Ford Focus just prior to this one, some of my expectations were particularly low. Whilst I was generally satisfied with the car, the 1.6L petrol engine lacked any real power, and the fuel economy left a lot to be desired when compared with the official figures. Fortunately, the decision to trade that one in for the newer model, and to make the switch to a 2L diesel with a 6-speed gearbox, addressed all the issues I had experienced with its predecessor, giving real over-taking power on the motorway, fuel economy in-line with official figures, and vastly improved handling courtesy of the Electronic Stability Program. Whilst the build and trim quality is no where near that of German rivals, it's still acceptable, with only a few occassional squeaks & rattles to complain about so far. Interiour and exterior styling is based on Ford's new 'kinetic design' and make the car quite nice to look at, and a pleasant place to sit in.

Pros: Good performance and high standard of kit for an affordable, medium-sized diesel car.

Cons: Doesn't stand out in a crowd, and running costs not as cheap as some rivals.

My Opinion In The Focus Ghia 2008. — I like the car, it is very good in handling, good brakes, good acceleration. The interior appearance of the car is very good and also the front exterior appearance, but the back view of the car could be better. The only problem that i've found in the focus is that the maximum speed that i got is only 170 km/h although the max speed on the speed gauge is 240 km/h.

Pros: The overall performance of the car is good.

Cons: The maximum speed of the car sucks.

    Where Mpgs Meet Mp3s —

Performance: Acceleration is average, braking is average although braking feel is a little soft, handling is responsive with quick steering. Build Quality: It hasn't needed anything repaired yet. Pretty solid from when I bought it. No rattles or anything. Apperance: Exterior apperance is definitely unique and is always a matter of opinion. I wasn't too fond of it at first glance but the look has grown on me. Interior is definitely an upgrade. It's clean and modern looking and the buttons and controls are well configured and placed. Cost of Ownership: Gas is good with responsible driving. Unfortunately, I do a lot of driving so I don't notice the money I'm saving. But the car sips fuel and filling up is easy on the wallet. Maintenence is simple and cheaper than one might think. But really, it is a entry level vehicle, how expensive did you think it might be? Fun Factor: Is it fun to drive? Yes. I have the 5 speed manual transmission and I will have to say that the car is geared pretty well and it's not bad when your foot gets a little heavy. I also have the car with the optional SYNC system which makes the car even more enjoyable. My calls are all hands free and the voice recognition is excellent. Definitely a great perk. As I told my friend Tyler, Ford wasn't kidding with it's "MPGs meet MP3s" slogan. It's cheap, is reliable (so far) and fun. It's a welcome alternative to Sentra and Civic.

Pros: A stylish fuel saver that's comfortable and fun to drive or even ride in.

Cons: The back seat is hard to access
