2008 Caliber Srt4 — I love the speed and power behind this small 4 cylinder engine. I also like the amount of space in the trunk and seating for such a smaller car. This is a great vehicle to own and I would recommend it to anyone.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: 285 hp, quick, turbocharged, spacious, 19 inch rims, 25 mpg avg, 6 speed manual, low mileage, first year caliber SRT4 was made

Cons: low - profile tires make it harder to keep traction in wet conditions.

2008 Dodge Caliber SE FWD Review
Samba_1245 says:
It was my car for about 6 months and I used it mostly for Uber-ing. I was pleasantly suprised on how well it stowed things and was pleased to see that the fuel economy wasnt too bad either. It was a peppy little car and would fill up for under $25 dollars. Very good buy!

Handling Ranked 2005 Chrysler Sebring better.
"The Chrysler Sebring handled better because it was a touring model. There was less road noise than with the Caliber, which was not shy on road noise. "
Family Car Ranked 2005 Chrysler Sebring worse.
"I loved the hatchback feature on the Dodge Caliber because it allowed for baby strollers and plenty of storage for anything else. Drove this car to CA from TX and had no hiccups along the way. "

This is a great car. I have owned it for several years and I have no complaints. If u keep up with maintenance it does very good. I did have to have transmission work done. And the stability bar clunks on bumpy roads. But it has 180000 miles on it. And it still gets almost 25/mpg I’m town. I lay down the back seats and I can haul 8’ lumber fairly easy. I do have a hitch installed so I can use my small trailer for bigger stuff. But it’s nice to know I don’t always NEED to.

Looks/Style Ranked 2009 Chevrolet HHR 2LT FWD better.
"Style is more distinctive"
Family Car Ranked 2009 Chevrolet HHR 2LT FWD worse.
"The Hhr is ok as a family car. But the caliber is a little lower to the ground with more spacious back seats making it more comfortable for a car seat"
