Good A To B Car. Very Reliable. — Great A to B car, has been very reliable. Some of the chrome on the inside is chipping and isn't a very flashy ride. Front Speakers stopped working in 2012 but after replacing seems fine. Gets very good gas mileage.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good if not excellent gas mileage. Very reliable.

Cons: Can be a bit cramped and is boring to drive...

Fun And Econimical — Handles like a sports car. Lots of nice features like power everything. Sips fuel so you don't stop all the time for gas. It does ride like a small car but that is to be expected. Great two passenger or with two small to medium size kids.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fun to drive.  Easy to park.

Cons: You would move the seats forward if large people sit in the back

Chevy Cobalt — I bought this car in February 2010 and love this car. I have owned other cars but this car is the best by far. Although it doesn't have very many good storage for your sunglasses It is an ok car after all.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Good quality for the price

Cons: It doesn't have a very good spot for your sunglasses, or your cell phone

Good —

First of all, let it be known that I love my car. That being said, the worst thing about it is definitely the build quality of the dash and panels. The dash is mostly tough plastic, if I push firmly on a few places it will bend inwards and make a noise. The body panels are like most other cars, it feels like it can get dented pretty easily in some places (more the rear of the car) , and the spoiler feels like if I pulled hard enough it will just pop off the car. If I push on it it will rock/bend back and forth, though not too badly. With the bad stuff out of the way, we can move on to how fun this is to drive. Although it's a 4 cylinder, it still is pretty quick due to its low weight, and can accelerate respectably. Mine's also a manual transmission, another thing I love, which makes it even more fun to drive. Handling is pretty good, I love keeping it in a lower gear and going down twisty back roads, it can take turns pretty well (even at speed). For highway driving, it's still a good car, it gets 37mpg or more, doesn't shake at all at higher speeds, and doesn't rev too high in 5th (at 80mph in 5th gear, it's at 3000 rpm, redline is at 7000 if I remember correctly). Looks are all opinion, so I won't even bother telling you I like them. I've had the car for 3 years now, and the only maintenance problem it's had was a blown fuse which rendered the AC useless, but it was an easy fix. Overall I feel like this is a great car, especially for the $14,000ish base price, but too bad the horn is nothing close to masculine.

Pros: Fun, easy on the wallet, great mpgs.  GET A MANUAL.

Cons: Cheapish dash.  Don't abuse it by punching buttons, one will probably fall out eventually.

If You Want A Sporty Car, Good On Gas, That You Will Love And Your Friends Will Love, This Is It. —

The Chevy Cobalt. Its shiney looks make it look expensive but really people buying this car brand new off the lot isnt worth it. Your better to go buy a used one of these for around 6-10 grand for a basic model and 16 grand at the most for a super charged one. At dealerships this car brand new sells for 21 grand when really you should only be paying 15 grand for it brand new for a base model. Other then the initial cost of the car it does save you money in your pocket when at the gas pumps. It was fuel meter telling you when its low on gas. Its cheap to fill up and doesn't gas munch. Low maintenance I have never had a mechanical problem with this car. i give it 5 stars for safety. It hugs the roads at high speeds, takes corners beautifully, its quiet, safe in winter to drive, always starts even when not plugged in for the night, it warms up fast,if you do get into a snow pile it usually can can its self out. It does get complemented everywhere it goes. Its a smooth quiet ride. Super fun to drive can give speed when needed and can go all day without a problem.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Safe, stylish, good on gas, reliable, smooth

Cons: Small rear spoiler
