My Wifes Car. — Small, copmact, roomy. This is one hell of a car. You get a lot of bells and whistles at standard equipment with out paying over $20K for it.

Pros: The Price

Cons: Two doors hurt, right now, prefer a 4 door.

Basically, My First Car. — Soon to be modded out, my '07 Rabbit has already been de-badged with a clean rear end. Soon to come are 19" Phaeton Helios Wheels, an intake, exhaust, new hi-flow headers, VW OEM/Votex Rabbit Trim, euro sunken dash shelf with portable NAV mounted in it and euro antenna.

Pros: MPG
Handling
Tiptronic 6-Speed Transmission with Sport Mode

Cons: No Armrest
Rattles in Interior
Sound System

Its A Downgrade From My Gti But It Gets Me From Point A To B — Over all great car, I've had this for almost a year now and the mileage is a tad better than the GTi, but the best thing is the cost.

Pros: Price

Cons: No Turbo

Best Car I Have Ever Driven!!!! — I have had the 2007 Rabbit for about 6 months. I love it. The 5 speed manual drives smooth. I wish there were more performance parts for it. There is a ticking sound coming from the Engine. Is that normal???

2007 Volkswagen Rabbit — This car is pretty solidly built. It has the 2.5L inline five, also used by the Jetta. The engine produces 150hp and 170 ft.-lbs. of torque. It is decently quick with a 0-60 time of 7.9. With the help of a Cold Air Intake the power can be bumped up to around 160hp. The CAI also inproves the fuel efficiency and engine noise. Handles great.

Owner for 0 years, 7 months

Miles Driven per Year:10,000

Pros: Whiny Engine Noise, weak on power.

Cons: German Precision, great handling, fun to drive.

2 Months And Loving It! — After having a '97 Honda CR-V, this car just zooms! In my test drive, I almost thought I was driving my wife's IS300. Nicely put together (so far!) and feels solid. My wife thought I was crazy zeroing on just this car but she's been won over with it. It been 20+ years since my '84 GTI and this brings back alot of fond and fun memories!

Pros: full-sized spare (I get alot of flats)

Cons: alittle loud. wipers do not fold away from the windshield. gas fills on passenger side.

Excellent Car Exceeding All My Expectations — After almost 100,000 miles I still don't have almost any complaints regarding this car. Engine, brakes and steering are great. I have done all the regular maintenance schedules and repairs at VW dealerships and they were very resonably priced, honest and never tried to upsell anything or charge for unecesarry repairs. Unbelievably, the only things I've had to change during the past 100,000 miles were tires, a couple of light bulbs and the battery. Everything still feels as tight as when I bought it. I suspect I will never have a better and more reliable car after this one.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Very reliable and fun car to drive

Cons: Somewhat noisy engine
