Nuff said Appearance - Stays looking fresh years and years down the road. Nice and classy and conservative. Cost of Ownership - Very affordable and worth every single penny. Fun Factor- :-D

A Brief Description Of Greatness - Vw Rabbit — Very fun. Way better handlling and suspension than my old Corolla (I don't avoid bumps anymore). Good cargo room. The back seat is not what it could be, but that's not exactly the point of this car, now is it?.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling; Torque;

Cons: slightly compromised fuel economy; back seat comfort for taller individuals

Great Bang For The Buck — Performance - A little too heavy for the 2.5. Also, Shouldn't a 2.5 have a little more than 170hp? Handle's well conisdering how economical it is. Build Quality - Fantastic Interior build Quality, Good Exterior. Brakes had to be replaced at 20,000 miles which is pretty early...and i don't brake that much Appearance - best looking new hatch out there. Cost of Ownership - Great Fun Factor - ***

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Econimical yet fun stylish and useful

Cons: This car shouldn't be avoided

The Best Car In Its Class — lots of usable torque, fun to drive. build quality top notch. ridiculous amount of standard features...what else has heated seats and mirrors standard for under 18k? the interior is incredible, i don't know how they can sell this car for what they do

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handling, comfortable driving position, torquey

Cons: some people might not like the exterior

I Guess The Rabbit Beat The Turtle In This Book. — Because of its small size, the rabbit has great acceleration and braking. I didn't really drive it to it's handeling limits, because I drove it winter, but it did handle well in snow. The car is actually a pretty well made car. The design of the interior and exterior was much more well thought out than my early mk4 jetta. I like the look of the new rabbit, although I prefer the two door, just because I prefer more compact cars. Because of the slightly larger engine (2.5L) compared to its predecessor, the gas does go down a bit faster than before, so it isn't the most fuel efficient car. But then again, if I wanted fuel efficiency, I would get a TDI, but I just hate the nasty diesel noise they make, lol. The mk5 rabbit is definatly a fun ride, with the look of a tiny little hatchback, but the sound of a 4 cylinder beast.

Pros: Small but very roomy, great sound, looks great modified!

Cons: I would have liked to have a more powerful engine...

Volkswagens Are Amazing! — it is a very smooth ride, and i love volkswagens. there are so many perks to owning a VW. they do 0% financing, and you get a free car wash whenever you want. Driving it is like a dream. the pickup on the car makes speeding around lots of fun, and the size makes it easy to manuever. I am a fan of volkswagen. i used to own a Beetle, and the rabbit is just as good. i will be driving these cars for the rest of my life

Pros: great gas mileage

Cons: semi-small backseat

The Lil Rabbit That Could. — The Rabbit is a great car. While not as powerful nor performance driven as the GTI or the R32, it definitely gets the job done and is a fun car to tool around in. The cornering is really impressive, even stock. Second gear is where the power kicks in. I've found that you get slightly better MPG performance with the ASR off - which is their anti-skid protection. I will say that bringing it into the dealership for it's check-ups can be pricey, but, I haven't had any mechanical issues with it at all for the past 2 years.

Pros: good handling, pretty roomy

Cons: MPG not as good as I'd like for a manual transmission.

Little Car, Big Results, Why Does Anyone Still Buy Those Suvs? — This car is a very all-rounder, good ride, it handles well, build quality is great, and theres tons of space even for a 2 door hatch. enough room to carry a dresser in the back. For a car this small you would expect it to feel light and nimble, and it is. The steering is weighted perfectly for a car this size, and you feel very confident when you fancy driving as if your pants are on fire. Reaching into the back from the front seat is a little tight, but theres miles of room in front of you, so it makes up for it. The seats hold you in on tight turns, and it never gives you any sense that it is anything less that great to drive in any weather conditions.

Pros: Space, ride handling, 5 passengers comfortable

Cons: access to back seates, loading height is low for average person
