I'm still missing my 02 model but the the orange makes me and my fast happy hehe Pros: Extremely fun to drive, much better than the BMW I traded to get it...I don't miss that ride AT ALL!!! Cons: Very addictive! Hate driving ANYTHING else! Once you go German, you'll never go back lol |

Peepy Well Made Car With A Sence Of Luxury As Well As Sportiness. — with a 2.0L turbo charged engine that produces 200 bhp and 207 ft lbs of torque, it roars around the streets with style. Heated leather seats, dsg triptonic gearbox, 18 inch wheels, and room as well as in the boot give it a sense of practicality. It has a beautiful sporty styling that catches everyones eye as well as the magma orange. #732/1200 made Pros: Everything Cons: the cops like to follow it. |

Quick And Nimble With Awesome Torque And Reliable German Build. — This car is a joy to drive for any real driving enthusiast. Its a hot hatch at its soul, and delivers in almost all facets. Handling and suspension is hard making it feel like you are apart of the road. With its brand new 2.0t, this car does not lack in pick-up. There is very minmal turbo lag making this car seem much faster than it really is. I highly recomend this car if you are looking for a fun car to drive that gives you a feeling that your in a 30k sports car.
Pros:
Incredibly fun to drive; over 200lbs of torque combined with german engineering makes
Cons:
Turbo creates for a somewhat loud drive; rough suspension can get annoying from time to |

The Germans Do It Right — The GTI delivers smooth, predictable power throughout the entire RPM range using a 6-speed manual gearbox. Turbo lag is non-existent, and torque steer is more than mitigated with an electronic steering rack that compensates. The interior is appropriate for the likes of a much more expensive vehicle--you won't be disappointed. This little front-drive "economy" car shows its prowess in the sports arena, but also pays special attention to taking care of the driver during a long trip (well insulated interior, supportive adjustable seats) during a long commute (car is a pleasure to drive) or for a quick bang through the gears on a twisty road (enter all of the GTI's best German-engineered dynamics). If VW made a husband or housewife, you'd want to buy one of those, too. Pros: Great handling, nicely appointed interior, quirky, yet intelligent German engineering will put a smile on your face in only a way that owning a VW can. Cons: Requires premium fuel. Heated seats not available with cloth trim package. |

The Original, Updated. — This car was A LOT fun to drive. I told the salesman I was interested in this car and he let me drive off the garage alone. That was a cool ride! Gets to 200km/h in no time and with a lot of confort. Still, the ride feels stiff without feeling every potholes trough my bones! I drove the manual one, so I still have no idea how DSG works well but it was a hell of a ride! Pros: High performance, fast spooling turbo, confortable, luxurious, cool seats (interlagos) Cons: A bit heavy, to much gadgets for a driver's car |

Refined Pocket Rocket — bought the car for 25k after taxes and it was worth every penny. dsg shifts awesome and holds boost, providing quicker acceleration. however, i still kindof wish i went manual. the car is torquey as hell and with revo stg1 and an intake, i can easily spin the wheels through 2nd gear if i want to. i put in an h&r swaybar and springs, so it handles even better then stock, but even stock, it's one of the most neutral handling cars ive driven, especially for a front wheel drive car. Pros: dsg shifts super fast, tons or torque at low revs, great interior Cons: DSG gets boring, runs out of breath past 6000 rpm, wheelspin |

Turbocharged, Baby-hauling, Grocery-getting Sedan. Yeah. — One of the most fun cars I've ever spent a week with. I can't believe I haven't yet found a way to sell enough bodily fluids to afford one. Hardly a weak point anywhere on the car unless you count the fact it burns premium fuel fairly quickly and its manufacturer hasn't exactly won many reliability awards lately. Oh well. Pros: Huge power from the turbo 4-cyl. and a very fun 6-speed. Gorgeous interior and attention to detail everywhere on the car. Sweet, sweet German automobile. Cons: Not exactly cheap to buy or own, and I'd hate to own one when the turbo finally goes. That's gonna cost ya. |
