. — When you turn your car on, does it return the favor? The interior details of contrast stitching is why i bought it; the overall performance is why i fell in love with it. What a great first car to have

Pros: everything

Cons: Not being able to open her up on the road due to lack of places to go.

5th Gen Vw Gti — I agree with what most everyone else says, the 5th Generation GTI is a great and very fun, but still practical car. The perfect city car that is also at home on the highway. Great performance, excellent handling, holds a lot of stuff, gets decent fuel economy when driven with a light foot.

Pros: the sum of all parts

Cons: can't thinkof anything

2007 Vw Gti —

This car is VW's typical hot hatch. Echoing previous generations, the car is quick, fun, and stylish. Acceleration is great on the car and 2.0FSI Turbocharged engine really puts out some nice numbers out of the factory. The handling on the car is great as well but the brakes seem to be a little bit of a weak point. Not to say they don't brake well, they just don't feel like they have any bite to it to compare to the meatiness of the rest of the performance aspect. Interior build is also solid and the vehicle allows for many upgrades including heated leather seats, sunroof, and navigation system. The dash interior colors are very visible and modern looking and the in-car computer help keep track of all you need to know about your car. This car's looks are all around sleek and smooth. The body lines of the car flow very well and the honeycomb grill in the front with the red striping are very appealing to the eye. In terms of gas mileage, you won't find a much better performing 4 cyl. turbo car. Personally, I average ~30m/gal highway and ~22m/gal city. Maintenance is a little pricey because the turbo engine require a minimum 91 octane fuel and also fully synthetic oil But, all in all, this car is a whole lot of fun to drive and honestly, after two years of owning it, I don't regret my decision at all.

Pros: Performance, Build Quality, Appearance, Fun Factor

Cons: You have to pay to play...

Best Coupe Under 25k — Excellent perfomance, fast on the curves, good grip and fun to drive! The accelaration is awesome, that sound of the turbo is cool, the gear box is smooth and short, and the design of the seats is very racing! front bumper has a relly aggressive look. MPG highway is good.

Pros: All

Cons: None

Such A Nice Car — It's a great value for the sportiness to cost ratio. I love the handling and performance. The DSG is sometimes a little slow to kick in and you can't skip gears, so I would recommend getting the standard transmission instead. It gets really good mileage, too, if you drive gently.

Pros: Great handling and pickup, good mileage if you stay off the gas

Cons: None so far

Well-rounded, Fun Daily Driver — Good, well-weighted steering. Responsive handling with a very tossable feel. Low on power, and FWD is annoying. Loses traction in 1st gear on hard acceleration. DSG is neat, but loses its fun factor after a while. Give me a proper manual next time. Interior is very nice and build quality is excellent for the price. Incredibly practical.

Pros: Sharp steering, fun handling, nice interior, good gas mileage, hatch practicality

Cons: FWD, ho-hum styling, DSG novelty wears off, could use more power

My Esperience With New From Old. —

I bought the car in June of 2007 and I must say I'm not as inpressed by the cars overall feel at all. The suspension allows for mush more tight cornering than my Mk4 did, but the body roll gets to me everytime. The cars ride height is way too high for stock, gives it a mini-mini SUV feel. The engine is the one thing that amazes me. A 2.0 litre turbo-charged 4 cylinder putting out 200 hp and roughyl 215 ft-lb. torque. An APR Tuning chip sets you at about 240-wheel hp and 300 ft. lbs. of torque. A pocket rocket by all means, and more if tuned and maintained properly. The DSG Transmission is alittle sluggish for what I thought it would be, Audi A3 Euro Clutch -pack upgrade should take care of that little problem. Almost feels like there's too much head room. Coming from a mk4 and all. The paddle shifting is just too much fun as you blare down the highway at 145mph(Experienced or professional drivers only), smooth shifting at high speeds, Nice rev points. The gas mileage is great on the car, 2-3mpg miles lower than my 1.8t, but we bumped it up on the litre so alittle sacrifice for a gas economical and over all fun car to drive.

Pros: Engine Performance, Performance potential, Nice, but heavy 18" rims Drop and coilovers makes it much better.

Cons: Body roll feels lik e your in a barrel goin downhill, without goin downhill.

Golf Gti — Best car I have ever drove in my life, It's like a little power pack, a tiny car with 6 massive cylinders and so much juice, all squeezed in that little power pack, it didn't even cost me that much, I bought it second hand and i thought the price was quite reasonable

Pros: Very powerful, fast and top quallity

Cons: Small, rather costly and not very economic
