Get It! — Quick off the line w/ it's low end torque. Braking is good but fades over hard braking. Handling is top notch. Volkswagen build quality... need i say more? Very euro appearance which I love. Cost of ownership is PRICEY! Especially w/ the DSG model. $400 for a transmission flush from the dealer! Overall, this is a kick ass car to own and even more so if you get a reflash! stock: 200hp - 210lbs torque reflash: 260hp - 297lbs torque WOOT WOOT! I am so pleased with every aspect of this car I will always have a German car in my driveway from this point foward. Performance and build quality are unparalled to any car I've owned in the past! The Gti~! — fun and exciting, excellent gear(manual transmission), just stick to the road and precise handling. Very good mileage (about 25~30mpg), good looking, the body kit is definitely worth getting. Very fun car to drive. I've driven Lexus LS430, RX300h, ES330, BMW 320i, 735i, Honda Accord, Acura Legend, TL, Hyundai Sonata, XG, and so far GTI out-fun every one of them. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: the engine and the frame Cons: tire wear, too much driving cause much frequent oil change |

Perfect Daily Driver For Car Enthusiasts. — The DSG transmission is amazing and the car has great handling capabilities. The brakes are great for normal driving but the car has a little to much weight for the brakes to make it a track dawg. The turbo motor is a little thirsty but if you hyper mile it you can easily get 35-40 mpg. Pros: Fun to drive Cons: lots of other cars provide basic transportation at less cost. |
