Truck Is Great But Has Some Problems — I love the way my Tundra looks. It handles well for a truck. I just purchased a 2007 4.7L Double Cab Tundra with TRD package about three weeks ago. At speeds of 60 to 65 MPH I have an oscillating vibration that resonates thought the cab of my truck. While not severe it is VERY annoying when on long freeway trips. I had two tires replaces and the Toyota dealership and I still have the problem. I spoke to a person the other day that has the same truck but no TRD package (so it has different tires and rims) and he has the exact same problem. I am glad I talked to this person because the dealer is telling me there is nothing wrong. I even had a service adviser test drive the truck with me and while I felt the vibration he refused to admit that he felt it too. The vibration is not felt in the steering wheel and since I spoke with the other Tundra owner it can’t be my tires.

2007 Tundra, Texas Edition — Awesome! 22" chrome wheels, chrome step-boards, liquid leather seats, mp-3 6-cd changer, tow package (up to 10,600 lbs + 1,500 lbs in bed & interior), large telescoping side-view mirrors, tilt-telescoping steering wheel, Vortex bed-liner (spray-on), and more...

Pros: Power, Speed, Performance (gotta love it).

Cons: Gas mileage is only 15.5 to 16 mpg in city driving (but that's ok).

Great To Have That Power — I have owned the Tundra for about 5 months now and I have 6,000 miles on it mostly from weekend driving. I have taken to work a few times 52 miles oneway and have gotten around 19.4 mpg which isn't to shabby for having the 5.7 liter 381hp V8. Generally gets about 15 mpg just running around on the weekends as long as I stay out of the gas. Also has trip shifter if you like the feeling of shifting gears.

I Love My Tundra! — Hi, My husband and I own a 2005 Avalanche. And I love it, we were interested though in the 2007 Tundra. I was skeptical needless to say. I was blown away by the power of the Tundra. I had googled the Tundra on the web looking for information about it after our test drive. I like to read reviews about vehicles that my husband and I are going to purchase or thinking about purchasing. I heardd nothing but good about the Tundra. So we've ordered a 2007 Tundra, and it will be here in about 4 weeks. I love the Tundra. Like you've heard other reviewers saying to go test drive one, I completely agree with them. If your skepticaltest drive one. THEY ROCK!

Pros: I have 2 young girls I like the Tundra to the safety: brakes, turning ability and airbags. We live out in the country we have poor roads, this truck has a rougher ride but if you buy a 4X4 to me that's the way a 4X4 should ride. It's all around a better truck for us.

Cons: Technically, i would have to say the price. But we ended up paying more for the avalanche. Is rougher riding than the avalanche but that's okay.

Just Bought Mine! — I have been extremely impressed with this truck. I opted for the 5.7 motor and it seems unbeatable. The only problem I had was the dealer could not locate a truck that had a short bed, double cab, with a front bench seat. I decided to get the long bed and it looks good, for a long bed.

One Bad A$# Truck —

i am writing this review because i am thinking of buying one i recently test drove an 07 tundra, and i found it's towing power phenomenal. For instance, the 07 regular cab 2 wheel-drive version can tow 10,800 lbs with a weight distibution type hitch, giving it the highest tow rating of any half-ton pickup. Some of these towing powers are related to the wider, longer, stonger frame, but what i really think makes the tundra stand out is the optional 381-horsepower , 5.7 liter iforce v8. other options include the 236 horsepower, 4 liter v6 and the 271 horsepower, 4.7 liter iforce v8. This erases any doubts that toyota can build an "american" v8 lol. The pulling power begins low in the rpm range and continues right up to 6 grand wich is great for anybody who pulls floats, trailers, or hauls heavy equipment. It has a lot of advanced features like electronic fuel control, variable valve timing, acoustic control induction, duel overhead cams, stainless steel 4 into 2 headers, and an awsome set of exhaust, and thats just a small sample of what's inside the new stroker. Wich gives it the most horsepower pe liter (66.8 h/pl) in the six liter and smaller v 8 class. But the tundra is not the best around for gas milage i have found, you will probably get mid teens around the city and between 18 to 19 on the highway. The only downfalls i have found with new toyota is that, the quality of the interior seems to be a little cheap. The rear could also be a little softer to help comfort the rear passengers from the choppy suspension. So my overall conclusion is, i quote: (Jim Lentx toyota motor sales vice president) "From bumper to bumper, under the hood, and from the inside out the new tundra is a true american truck that will set a new benchmark in the full size pickup segment" and i have to agree toyota is going to be around for a long time.
