5 Stars — This has been my best vehicle so far. Very dependable, solid performance across the board. Would buy another for sure! Just wish it was a bit longer and had 4 doors. The practicality of the flooring which seem like a small detail, but if you have muddy boots you will appreciate how it cleans up quickly.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Reliability has been outstanding with the exception of a rear wheel bearing issue. Other than that I got 95k out of my original brakes and 85k out of my second set of tire with a proper rotation schedule.

Cons: Blind spot and not a true 4 door vehicle

Reliable, Comfortable, Fun Ride. — I was just about the first kid on the block with one of these when they came out and I don't have any regrets about buying or running the wheels off it, or trying, over the past almost 7 years. Routine maintenance, a battery and brake pads, that's all it's taken. A/c even still blows cold. Can't fault this little wagon for much.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Pros: Rock solid reliability, good balance of power and gearing.  Very comfortable front seats

Cons: Back seat is pretty much a joke.

Enjoyable And Fun Ride That Shines Off Road — I will follow up after I have owned the vehicle for more than two weeks, thus far it has been a fun ride and has been surprisingly comfortable. The blind spot comments I observed in the reviews and online searches I believe are overstated. If you have driven a SUV or full size truck previously using your mirrors and in my model the parking sensor addresses those concerns. More to come...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Styling, ride comfort, visibility and reliability

Cons: Gas mileage (comes with this class of vehicle),

I Love This Car — set aside the gas mileage, which is a nominal factor when it comes to driving a car that you truly enjoy. This vehicle is definitely a joy car. what I love about this car is while I'm on the road, I set up high and sees over on top of the cars in front of me. Oh, best of all is that it has no carpet flooring, easy to clean, and you never have to worry about spillage on the floor mat, it's water resistant. cargo space is also a plus, I can see why this vehicle is one of the highest demanding ride on the road.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Look and feel = high energy, powerful, and trendy.

Cons: Gas mileage

Great 4x4 — The driver's seat seem a little loose in its mounts. I've seen a number of complaints about this on the web. The vehicle is very tough and reliable. Having to put premium in it is somewhat costly, but it runs well and has plenty of get up and go.

Pros: Looks great, fun to drive, great traction, and safe.

Cons: Vertical windshield grabs lots of bugs in the summer.  The visor seems too far away and is not useful when turned to the side.  The back seats are a little claustrophobic.

Great Reliable Off Road Truck — I would buy another FJ if the fuel economy was a little better and if it had a all black roof. Its a great overall vehicle. Runs good in the snow and on the ice. It does have a blind spot that could be fixed.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Seats and floors are easy to clean

Cons: Back window should open and close like the Toyota 4 runners

2007 Fj Cruiser Trd Edition With 5 Inch Lift Is An Amazing 4wd Machine — Love the backcountry performance of this FJ Cruiser. I purchased a camper tent for the top which mounts on the roof rack, so you sleep on top of the truck. Nice to be off the ground in a queen size bed before a long day climbing -- sometimes I even get some sleep! All around, this truck has been great. no maintenance issues. Al I've done is buy a new set of tires for it. You can cruise at 75mph, or climb at .5 mph up a 30 deg rock-filled switchback.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: unstoppable on the 4wd roads in Colorado

Cons: Gas mileage could be better for it's size.  4WD low in 1st gear is too slow for most steep 4wd descents, but 4WD low in 2nd gear is too fast.  They need to tighten up this gear ratio so you don't have to ride the brakes on the downhille.

Fj = Fun & Joy — I love this car, love the 6-speed manual transmission. It will go anywhere and do nearly anything you ask of it. V-6 engine is nice and gives off a nice little growl. V-8 would have really guzzled the gas down. It gets a lot of looks from people since there aren't many of them on the road. Lots of options for luggage racks, fog lights, bull bars, running bars and winches. I got mine without any of that stuff so I can pick and choose each piece myself.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Rugged and powerful. 6-speed manual transmission makes it a blast to drive. Sound system is great.

Cons: Low MPG & road noise. Large blind spot.
