Sandy's Avalon — My baby is a dream. She is smooth, responsive, beautiful, comfortable and other great qualities. It is a very well built car with lots of class. She brings me about 24-25 mpg in town, and just over 30 on the road. That is including some 75-80 mph areas on last couple of trips. I have had her over a year and am still finding out goodies. She is lots of fun. She has lots of room and everyone has commented how much space they have anywhere they sit. I like the automatic back window shade and how the mirrors tint green at night when lights come in bright.

Pros: Everything about her

Cons: none

Love My Lexus, I Mean, Avalon — Here's the femail perspective: My Avalon came with black leather and trim. It looks great, but really shows the sand that we have so much of in Florida. The car handles great and the ride is super-smooth. Great acceleration, but it also gets good gas mileage (22/31). The upgraded rims and low rear spoiler give the car a rich look.

Pros: Performance and Styling

Cons: Dark interior

Will Always Give You A Compliment When Your Friends Get Inside! — Sweet to drive. Smooth, classie, and its got the power when you want it. It's even good on gas.

Pros: Looks great

Cons: Once you own one then you see the things you dont like. Like the fake leather that cants keep its color.

Avalon - Nothing But Dissappointment — Water hose popping off the bottom of washer fluid container. Leaks at fromt winshield pillars...coming in at speaker areas. tire sensors gone bad already...had a repair visit for this. rear spoiler coming off...had repair visit for this and it is coming off again. Overall car is a big disappointment. Got swept up in the looks of the car. I should have bought the Honda or Acura.

Pros: Looks

Cons: Performance and too many things going wrong in first year.

2007 Toyota Avalon Limited Review
Christopher says:
Nice sized family sedan with some modest luxury. Bland/sterile interior is clean and well laid out but does not appeal to those seeking a sporty aggressive styling. Very good road manners and comfortable ride at highway speeds. Bulletproof mechanicals as the most reliable car on the longest lasting vehicles (% of vehicles with over 300k miles). If you like the aesthetics, you will love this car.

Front Seats Ranked 2007 Lexus GS 350 AWD worse.
"Seats were actually quite comparable but seat height was slightly improved over the GS"
Value Ranked 2007 Lexus GS 350 AWD worse.
"Hard to direct compare because Avalon is only available with 2WD. Prices are slightly better because of this and the lack of the Lexus name plate but most examples had fairly high mileage. If luxury features and AWD are what you want, the GS may be your better option but the Avalon is worth a look if 2WD and Toyota street cared is all you want."

2007 Toyota Avalon Touring Review
DocNash says:
Owned 2005 Avalon Touring. Excellent handling on street, interstate, and winding secondary roads in all kinds of weather and traffic. I consider it the safest car in its class. Stiff ride but not as stiff as some reviews say when comparing to Limited or XLS. Now at more advanced age, want the safety and joy of driving the Avalon Touring again
