This Is A Good Car For Families With Kids. This Is A Point A To B Car With Great Handling. — The car overall is great. The CVT drone takes a while to get used to. Back seat room is very good for long trips. The only things I hate is the paint durability. Paint chips very easily on the bumpers. This can be solve by an extra layer of clear coat on the bumpers. The windshield pits very easily.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Car rides smooth

Cons: Brake squeal is reoccurring. Loud start of the engine.

A Truly Exceptional Vehicle. — I've had this car for 7+ years now and nothing ever went wrong with it. Nothing ever broke or stopped working. Not even a single light bulb burned out. It still drives as the day I bought it and it is FAST. I drove 3- and 5- series BMW and Altima is faster. When it accelerates, it presses you into the seat and does not let go until you simply get scared. An absolutely amazing family sedan with an attitude. The new remodeled Altimas in my opinion is a big step backwards in terms the appearance. I suppose they drive about the same, as apparently there were no major changes to the drive train.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Good looks, 3.5 V6 gives plenty of power, roomy interior for 5 people, huge trunk with folding rear seats, exceptional reliability.

Cons: Uses Premium Gas, so its a bit expensive to fill up...

Reliable Daily Driver — This was the first car I purchased after graduating college. It was my daily driver, and went on numerous road trips across the county. It ran smooth, and was quiet on the highway. Wasn't the best in the snow, as the OEM continental tires were pretty bad. Replaced with Generals and traction improved.

Pros: Gas mileage of the 2.5 was excellent.

Cons: Would spring for the V6 next time and sacrifice some mileage

Nissan Altima! — The Nissan Altima is an all around "go to" car. The 2007 looks great in appearance and shape and can compare with the newer Altimas. You cannot even tell the difference between the '07-'10. This is a safe car and perfect for family.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: The Altima is great on gas, gives you plenty of space, and is all around economical.

Cons: There are no cons to the Nissan Altima, but I want a sportier car.

Great Car — This is a great choice as a family car. Fuel mileage is excellent compared to similar models. Altima's with 3.5 are sporty and have plenty of power. The only thing I disliked about this car was that the front seats get uncomfortable after four hours of straight driving.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Great fuel mileage and looks sporty.

Cons: The only thing I disliked about this car was that the front seats get uncomfortable after four hours of straight driving.

Nissan Altima 2.5 S — I've owned this vehicle for about 2 years and have enjoyed driving this car. My model has a manual 6 speed with overdrive and I've appreciated the better gas mileage and the ability to pass other cars with auto transmissions.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Lots of room, huge trunk, gas mileage is great.

Cons: Can't really think of any.

I Love It But Have To Sell It! — I loved this car. Never owned a Nissan before but definitely will again. Top of the line even for a base model! Loved the push start keyless ignition, etc. So much power and just hugs the road! Beautiful inside and out. It was so comfortable and very quiet.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Beautiful inside and out and handles very well.

Cons: No heated seats...

Balanced Success — So far I like everything on this car. I looks great and runs beautiful. Maybe the cornering could be a little stronger (perhaps changing the sway bar) when I need to turn fast. I simply like my car! Have a great day!

Pros: Excellent vehicle all around! Fuel efficient and spacious interiors.

Cons: engine can be a little loud during sudden acceleration
