07 Spyder Gt....like Nothing Else — 3.8L V6 has plenty of power for daily driving as well as canyon runs. The only downside is the FWD layout limits performance on hard turns and also tire wear. Torque steer is extreme at WOT and takes some effort to keep her in a straight line. Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Power, power convertible, heated leather seats Cons: Build Quality not up to par with others, no optional in dash nav ![]() Looking for a Used Eclipse Spyder in your area?CarGurus has 102 nationwide Eclipse Spyder listings starting at $2,950. |

Nice Ride — Really love this car, it does have a bad blind spot on the passager side but run great on stick or not. Handles nice, extra freatures are great along with the sound system that comes with it.Yet to have a problem with it. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: Color-the way it drives-top comes down- great sound system Cons: People are jealous. lol People call it to me the spineless spyder |

2007 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder Gt — This is a powerful sporty convertible that won't break the bank. The power top lowers in just 19 seconds and hides completely under a tonneau cover giving the car its own definitive shape. Like the coupe, the seats are very comfortable and supportive and it handles surprising well. I live in snowy Ohio so I like the FWD and the torque steer complaints are overexaggerated. This car will flat out move! It has a 260HP V6 engine and equal amount of torque which pushes you into the seat when you hit the gas, you have to try to avoid squealing the front tires because this car wants to "take off". The GT spyder has the Rockford Fosgate stereo system with CD changer & outside temp gauge as well as foglights. The spyder does lose the cargo room but the 5 cubic ft trunk as well as the small backseat can handle your traveling needs. The only few complaints that I have is the visibility, which is non existent and the turning radius is very large, other than that this car has it all. I still don't understand all the bad press this car gets because all of the owners seem to love it. Drive one and you'll see!!! Pros: power top, powerful engine, great exhaust note, comfortable seats, excellent handling Cons: no visibility with top up & large turning radius |

My Dream Car — The performance of the car is awesome. It has great acceleration and can stop on a dime. It has a great build i have not had any problems with it yet. I love the way it looks its very cute, inside and out. And gas is great 20 bucks to fill my tank. It is the best to drive, especially with the top down. Pros: It is a convertable and its my dream car Cons: Nothing I Love My Car |

A Sporty Fast Convertible That Won't Break The Bank!! — An amazing and surprisingly fast drop top with a potent 260HP MIVEC V6 engine. Very sporty with acceptable MPG in the 20's for combined driving. This car handles well and is a lot of fun. I love the exhaust growl!!! Pros: 260HP engine, great looks, Premium stereo, comfortable seats, exhaust note, high quality conv. top Cons: premium gas, poor visibility with top up |

Affordable Convertible — Perfect affordable car for CA climate. A little bit underpowered but I get 30 mpg so overall I'm happy. A few squeeks and little details that they've missed (it's not european). Handles decent and got good enough brakes. Room for more than 2 and a superb speaker system. Looks just great and it's got excellent warranty. I have the 5 spd manual and like it better than the available 4 spd auto. Pros: Convertible, options, price, gas mileage Cons: Power |

Great Car, Fast & Fun!! — Had this car for a little bit under a year and I love it. It's a car that can easly cost over $40000, but it's just over $30000. I have the GT version that comes with the V6 250+ horsepower MIVEC engine. In terms of gas, I think it's pretty good, I fill it up with $50 bucks of premium because of the supercarburant, but it lasts me almost 2 weeks (in a normal week) and 1 week if using heavily. The handling is great, the faster you go the lower it goes to the floor. Brakes are incredible, you can barely touch them when you have already stopped. Interior is mind blowing, ice blue dials and lights, leather heated bucket racing style seats. The radio is rockford fosgate, with 9 speakers total, 2 components, 4 mid range and a 8 inch subwoffer in the middle of the back seats, I upgraded a little bit and had installed a 10 inch infinity self amped sub that was mounted in the trunk, all of this pushed with a kick ass rockford fosgate 4 chanel amp. Downfalls, the back seat and the trunk or lack there of, but I don't care about that cause I am not sitting in back nor storing any bodies in my trunk. One of the coolest things is the quickness that the top goes down and stowes away, I've done it at a red light with time to spare, another cool thing, the top hides into the body of the car, so it seems like it never had it, the tacky folded cloth is no where to be seen. Overall love it, have to be carefull though cause after 4000 rpm the 200 some Horses kick in and it takes off, a good idea to have all bases covered, buying a radar like I did... Pros: Design, sound system, engine Cons: back seats, trunk...but not really. |
