Love This Car — I bought this car with 46k on it and now has over 120k. most of the was highway miles. when i bought the car, it was in the showroom and they needed a jump pack to start it. i knew that the battery would need to be replaced and even asked them to test the battery. they tested it and said it was fine. however a few months after owning the car i had intermittent issues with the car losing power while driving.when i went to get my car inspected the shop said my battery was junk. so mad! have not needed any major work done however i just recently had the lower ball joints replaced at a shop because its very difficult to do. i did all 4 breaks recently, i have new calipers, rotors and pads.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: overall very low maintenance. just wear and tear items brake pad/rotors. smooth ride as well.

Cons: once had to unlock the car climbing through the trunk. for whatever reason the door locks didn't work and i couldn't unlock the car with the key.

Reliable — It is an economic and reliable vehicle to own. It is almost cost free maintenance. All you need to do is oil change and inspect overall condition of vehicle and drive. It is perfect for computing to work or for out of town trips. Great cabin space for its size and comfortable sitting.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

    Pros: Economic

    Cons: Can't think of any

Over Priced But Great Reliability — Rather drive a full size buick and have the extra leg room with a family that has over 6ft people. And still get the mileage out on the road. But if you want high price and dont care for the leg room etc. great car handles well drives fine a little rough ride compared to my buick park ave. though.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great reliablitiy  its a Honda

Cons: limited space if over 6ft. Price is high on these things bought it new.

Good Value And Dependable — Bought this car used with ~44k miles and now have ~108k miles. Had to replace the timing belt last month (6cyl) and included the water pump. Other than this, normal oil changes and brake pads were the only other costs. Plan to hold onto this car and shoot for 200k miles.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Solid car that requires very little maintenance

Cons: Would like for the back seats to lay down for extra storage

Great Car, As Expected — Bought it used and I love it so far. Runs great with the great gas mileage that is expected on an Accord. Lived up to Honda reputation and will definitely look to buy more cars from them in the future.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Everything runs so well, and the car is very spacious. Perfect for family use.

Cons: Previous owner smoked, which left a smell in the car, and a few burns.

Safe, Efficient, And Fun (with A Manual). Great Value! — This car is a model of packaging. There is no wasted space inside or out. You feel this in the handling of the car and how easy it is to access the controls and storage areas in the cabin. There are cleverly designed and well placed storage spaces throughout the cabin. Honda makes the best manual transmissions in the industry and this car exemplifies that work. It has a GREAT ENGINE NOTE. It sings as you wind it up to 6800 RPM and nail the upshift. Honda engineers did well to silence any harshness to the engine sound and eliminate any annoying vibrations in the cabin. I enjoyed how engaging my daily drive is and appreciated the low impact to my wallet at the gas pump. The ride is firmer than many sedans, but it's never harsh. The trade off for that firmer ride is great handling and less body roll. The car goes where you put it, without drama and eventually oversteers if you push it real hard. The steering weights up nicely at speed, helping you keep the car straight. I enjoyed driving this car. In the looks department, the car doesn't scream performance. Instead, you get a classy, understated look with dimensions that are clearly no larger than they need to be. It wasn't a car I would sit and stare at, but there were times I smiled as I walked away from it. The car blends in and I never had any trouble with the police, even with my spirited driving style.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Handling, fuel economy, and reliability.  Easy 30+ MPG. Spent no money on the car other than tires, brakes, and fluid changes.  Amazing value and a well packaged daily driver.

Cons: The 4 cylinder could use a little more low end torque.  There's a million of them out there, so you will blend in unless you modify the styling.

Best Car Ever. Will Drive Til Wheels Fall Off — 4 door styling is stodgy. No Nav but gps on my phone and good sense of direction so not needed. Dealers are a ripoff for service so I use independents service . Car is fun to drive, willndrive another 100K . need to do timing belt. "The Prez"

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great car. Bought with 40k miles. After 4 yrs now have 165k w/o any probs & simple maintenance - oil changes every 4k miles, wipers, air & cabin filters, 1 set of brakes & tires. 20 mpg around town, 30 over the road. Sound system is mediocre, comfortable to drivew, great pick up, brakes are so-so, but handles well. No squeeks/rattles, paint & finish held up well.. Body style grows on me - not crazy anout it initially. Bad turn radius. Feels safe to drive. Best Honda i ever had - I've had 4 plus datsun, nissan, toyota, pontiac, and vw. This is the best of them all.

    Cons: Radio speakers stink

Love This Car, Been Great Since I Got It, Now Have 300,000 Km! — Great performance, quality fit and finish, very easy to maintain, basically all I do is gas and oil changes every 5000 km. Sweet interior that you would not expect at this price range. Overall, I will be buying the 2013 model this year.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Will definitely be buying a Honda Accord again!

    Cons: Nothing!

Great For People Who Drive Only 5mph Over Limit. — Overall, this car is a great investment. The life expectancy was the reason I bought it as the car we had prior to that was one that we had bought for $800 and drove like it. This was an upgrade for my wife to drive our kid to store/school/etc.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Really nice "drive to the store" car.

Cons: Could have a little more power for the price or better fuel efficiency - either one.
