Well, I Got This Fully Loaded Dependable Cobalt For The Price Of A Basic Yaris (jan 08) — My girlfriend is using it. So far, trouble free car. Very low cost maintenance, no warranty issues at all. Has 46k. Car drives well and is fully loaded: Leather, heated seats, Panasonic factory subwoofer, XM radio, fog lights, ABS, traction ctrl, automatic headlights, polished alloy wheels, chrome tail pipe, chrome ext moulding and handles, wood trims, information computer, cruise, leather wrapped steering wheel with audio-cruise functions, mp3 jack, spoiler. All is OEM components. LTZ is a very rare trim level. Almost a Cimarron ;)

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great road handling, cheap on gas and very loaded. Auto tranny works smoothly.

Cons: Disc brakes aren't so good, so so resale value and small trunk access

Its Nice For What It Is, An Upgraded Cavalier. — Looks good from the outside... nice that GM has kits for it, sucks they charged $800 to install it though. Gets really good gas mileage. Nice that it has heated seats and stuff like that. Stupid lug pattern, hard to find rims for it.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: The supercharger is fun to listen to...

Cons: Craptastic interior, so cheap...

Once Again Gm Is Ripping You Off. Should Be Sold For $8,999 On The Road. — On standards there is a major clutch problem that gm should be addressing but doesn`t care about the customers enough to do anything about it. clutch goes out every 10-15000 km, and no it`s not my driving, do a search on chevy cobalt clutch problems, alot of people are in the same vote as me. GM has the worst customer service i have ever seen or ever heard of. Will not buy again, i went from chevy only to never again. good on gas. good trunk room. easy to drive. fun to drive(when it`s running) Suspenion has a 20 year old design. pops control arm bushing like mad. and the list goes on gm is harging anywhere from $1000 to $2000 dallors to fix this clutch problem when ever it happens, crazy price, a local garage will do it for 300 tax in not including clutch whitch i got of 250 bucks, so i got it done for $550 big difference then $2000

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: trunk room

Cons: clutch,suspension,bushings and so on

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Seats are amazing

Cons: It isn't that great about the little stuff.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Drive It! — I kow my car was built for road racing. It handles great, accelerates briskly, and the brakes will bring you to a stop in a hurry. I love it, and would recommend it to anyone that loves to drive fast.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: If you like a tuner car that's different.

Cons: if you don't like superchargers

Small, Sporty Throw Away — I purchased the 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt as a Lease to start building credit. When I first started with the car I was amazed by the performance for such a small car, braking and handling just fine. The Build Quality you will see things start to fall apart, crack, rattle, fade and I only had the car for 2 years. I loved the appearance, both interior and exterior. Original Cost of ownership was minimal but in the End I was Screwed. Had to roll over about $6000 negative equity into my new car again only after about 2 years. This car sucked with 3 kids all in car seats, no room at all. And I was also side swiped by an old man, pic in profile.....

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Great Looking Appearance Inside and Out

Cons: Falls Apart, No Value, Worthless after short time of ownership

Great For The Price! — It is a great sturdy vehicle that gets you from point A to point B with good MPG and enough pep for a small car. it is a great cruiser and fun to drive. it small and compact and fits anywhere, chevy makes the most reliable vehicles, so no worries there.

Pros: MPG, reliability, zip and go, sleek look.

Cons: noisy.

My First Car — Its a simple A to B car i guess. Its got great gas mileage and for a first car i can't go wrong. Its pretty fun to drive compared to the SUVs I've always driven in. I can't thank my parents enough for getting it for me!

Pros: gas mileage

Cons: size
