07 Cobalt Ss Na — overall its a good car, but when your a poor college kid its had to build it since pats are so dang much... it needs a turbo bad. its fun to drive and it is extreamly fun on tight corners.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: great cornering and decent exceleration

Cons: not worth the money

Acceleration is good when not wheel hopping. Takes corners well. Buid quality is average...after all it is a cobalt. Apperance is alright minus hte big wing that makes me feel rice tastic. (hope to lower and go wingless) Cost is good minus for a four cyl. it is one thirsty car. Fun to hear the supercharger scream.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: It screams

Cons: Aftermarket sunroof has bad wind noise

Long Distance Drivers Car — accelerates slowly, great breaks and handles great even in the snow. The air never shut off throughout the car, so the fans must remain on. Cute car, roomy trunk, however small leg area in the back. Gets amazing gas milage. Overall fitting for my driving typle

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: great gas milage

Cons: hard shifting

Love It — great speed for a four cylinder, good gas mileage when cruising. handles great now because i have eibach springs on it now. havent needed to repair anything yet so gas is the only cost of the car, which is not much at all. 20 bucks a week maybe? car looks good now but still has so much potential.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: fun and quick yet great on gas

Cons: lots of plastic.... you get what you pay for

Cobalt — Performance-good accleleration but has a problem with torque steer but for the money you spend its a good deal compared to other sport cars Appearance-its okay there are a few things i would changed but it looks good Cost of Ownership-wouldn't be a good car for gas mileage and insurance is insane

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: the supercharger

Cons: torque steer

My Thoughts — Absolutely love this car and everything about it. If I were buying another car today I would definitely look at the Cobalts. I would highly recommend this car to any of my friends or family to buy and have in their garage.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Performance, gas mileage, looks, color

Cons: Light color interior

I Can't Recomend This. Drive It Alot Before You Buy To Make Sure That You Do Like It. —

This is one of those cars that looks good on the spec sheet or even just parked. However, out on the road it disapoints. Sport suspension, large disc brakes, a big 2.4L VVT DOHC 4 cly with high compression do not translate into a fun ride. One of the big problems is the 4 speed automatic, it's just not happy pairing to this engine. In fact, it's an unhappy one. You can hear this by the way the two sound--a whinny, lethatrgic moan is emitted most of the time. It proclaims, "I am not having fun here!" The thrust is okay when you floor it off the line--but theres not alot there when you moving and you get on it. Unless it does some high rpm downshift to a much lower gear it will just provide modest accleration. The gas mileage is decent in the city. Not great but not bad either. As with most cars, on the highway its very good. Then theres the ride quality or lack there of. In the name of high shid pad g number it sacfifices alot of ride compliance. Instead of absorbing road irregularities it just crashes over them. I feel that the spring rates are just to hard. The steering is another let down. It's an electric setup which is done to save a very smalll amount of mileage and is becoming very common. That's fine by itself but the problem is the feel. It's a bit too heavy, vague and very artifiical feeling. Like your playing some arcade game. Despite my misgivings with the suspension and steering you can corner quite fast--which might be the only smile this car ever gives you. Other then that, it is well built car that has a solid feel to it. The brakes inspire a fair amount of confidence and has a very firm brake pedal.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nothing stands out

Cons: Harsh suspension, vaugue steering, powertrain.

Its A Great First Car, Not For Big Families — Wish the 4-door models looked as sleek as the 2-door. The Manuals seem to have problems with the clutch more so then other vehicles of the same type. The interior looks as nice as the exterior though. Great sporty looking vehicle for the price.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Runs great

Cons: Pricey to fix

Great Gas Economy And Dependable Vehicle — Quality is excellent on this car, provides plenty of power for the sporty lead footed driver such as myself, and also great gas mileage for that slower easy sunday driver. Good all around car for almost anyone. Great buy on this car.

Pros: Good Quality Vehicle, Plenty of power, great gas mileage

Cons: Parts Are Expensive
