Nice Car If You Can't Afford Anything Else — I like the car but it could be better. The interior looks and feels really cheap.. and the seats should be a darker color so they wouldnt get dirty as fast. It's not the best car to get if u plan on modifying it since not too many things are available for it yet!

Pros: Not too expensive
Good lookin
Pretty fuel economy

Cons: Interior isn't that great

My First Car — I have been waiting for over 5 years to purchase a car and this is the first one. The 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS Supercharged is my first car that I can add to my resume of cars. All I can say is, it is about time that Chevy got rid of the Cavalier and built something with balls. For all of those that think this is just a Cavalier but looks a little sportier, you couldn't be more wrong. I have driven a Cavalier and obviously I have driven this and there is no comparison. As far as looks, they aren't even close to looking the same, the Cobalt has FAR MORE performance and handling and it's a lot more fun to drive. It's one of those cars (compared to a Civic or Cavalier) when you hear the motor roaring, your actually moving, unlike a civic or a cavalier that just puts along with 8,000RPM and your only doing 30km/h. For my first car, it has been a great experience. Unfortunately there are no mods done to it yet, but I assure you they are coming!!!!

Pros: Supercharged
Lots of Speed
Fun to Drive

Cons: Terrible Turning Radius
Not a great winter vehicle (have to get snow tires)

So Far, So Good Except For The External Temperature Display. — I bought it mainly for the gas mileage. I also got a 5-speed and that makes it fun to drive again. For a 2.2 it has lots of pep. Plenty of room and huge trunk. Smooth ride.

Pros: Gas mileage, interior room

Cons: External temp display may be faulty

Poor Mans Sports Car But Great — We have had a cpl problems with it. The brake rotors have now been turned twice in the last 2 months or so and the door handles have had to be replaced(manu.fac. defect) the sunroom button as well has been replaced(manu.fac. defect) but other than that it is a great car. Needs a little more low end power gas is pretty good i average 28mpg mostly highwya driving as we live in the country.I bought the car in Aug 06 with 50 miles off show room floor as of today it has 22,000 miles. The weight isnt proportioned right if getting on it out of a corner the rear wants to try to pass ya a bit. But other than those few things I'm really havppy with it

Ssupercharged! — 2,800lbs and 205hp through the F35 5spd manual is just fun to drive. Sounds great, for a 4cyl.... I take the long way home, it's just fun & fast. It brakes, turns & handles like a little race car. Not to mention great on gas. I easily gets over 31mpg on the highway, I average 28-29mpg on my commute to work. I have an Injen intake which makes the supercharger scream, and an MagnaFlow-cat back which is deep and throaty!

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Corvette fun, for Cobalt price.

Cons: bought it used(w/115k miles), some things don't work perfectly

Sporty, Fun To Drive. — My car is great on gas mileage. I love the fact that it is a manual. I feel like I have more power with my ride and feel more in control. Overall I love the way my car works and feels.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Amazing gas mileage!

Cons: Very little space in the back seats.

Good Bargain — Pretty good acceleration for a 4 cylinder car. Some problems with the electrical system. It's a sporty sedan look, but not anything special. Good gas mileage unless you speed, then the mileage goes down. Overall it's a pretty fun car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's in the same class as civic and corolla and much cheaper.

Cons: It's a kind of a boring everyday car.

Balto —

Bought this car to serve as my new daily driver after some drunk hit my Camaro (which used to be my daily driver). I have quickly begun to like this car a lot. Sure, it's not an SS, but it has nice throttle response, and the when you floor it, it'll spin the tires pretty decently from a dead stop, and once you hit about 3500 RPM, it pulls like crazy. Not to mention, it gets great gas mileage. Brakes work great to slow this little 2600 pound car around, and it handles better than most front wheel drive cars I've driven. The quality is certainly good on this car. Obviously, it has the occasional clunk or what not, but it's to be expected from a cheap compact car. The interior is very nice, and is really sporty. The seats are very comfortable and hold you in while making some hard turns. The stock audio system is excellent. You can crank it without any distortion or rattling. It also has a built in Aux jack on the front, so I can use my mp3 player. The car has a nice look to it as well (girls think it's cute, which is good, I guess), and it looks really nice in white. This is certainly a fun little car to own (should get more fun as I modify it a little bit - for fuel mileage, of course. *wink*) Very much recommended!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great power for a NA 4-Banger, Fuel Economy, Good looks inside and out, Comfortable, Fun.

Cons: Not a V8, FWD (Basically nothing). Only real thing is the shifter. I don't like how tall it is (automatic).
