I Love This Car, But Would Only Recommend To Someone Expecting And Willing To Service It Often. —

There are two things I think are worth noting about my 328xi coupe, and they are the build quality, and the driving performance. I pre-ordered mine in 2006 before they were even available yet, and got one of the first ones delivered to the USA. I had so many build/service issues it is hard to even remember them all. The radiator blew and had to be completely replaced at mile 200, within the first week of ownership. The wheels cracked multiple times, needing to be replaced each time. My A/C system began flooding (yes with water) the cabin of the vehicle, instead of draining outside. The whole car cabin was soaked with easily 1 inch of water inside. My automatic door locks broke several times, trapping me inside of the vehicle with no way out, except to press the "SOS" button. Once, this happened AT the dealership when I arrived, and they had difficulty getting me out. Aside from all of these build/service problems, and more I have not even mentioned, this car DRIVES BETTER THAN ANY OTHER VEHICLE I have driven. It has safely delivered me to out-of-state events during blizzards, that have crippled other 4-wheel drive SUVS along the side of the roads. It has handling capabilities that make me feel like a NASCAR driver. Every time it is gone for service, I miss driving it. Compared to driving the Infiniti G35s, Lexus SCs, even the Corvette Z06, I still prefer the 328xi for an every day all purpose car. It handles so precisely at the slightest touch, it has traction even on ice, and the 328 in line 6 engine is more than sufficient power.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fun to drive, very precise handling

Cons: Build/service problems, very stiff ride (bumpy)

It Only Snows A Few Weeks Of The Year So Enjoy It. — Sexy, smooth, reliable, solid, great handling, good acceleration for an automatic, excellent braking, good cornering, nice interior styling and quality. Good NCAP safety rating. Only bad points: *Awful in the snow. * Very expesive to run... £900 for a full set of 17" runflat tyres.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's a BMW... need I say anymore.

Cons: BMW and snow is asking for trouble. Runflat tyres are costly to replace.

You Have No Reason To Do That — It is a very nice car but not made for the very speed. It also greatly priced for young people who starting their career. Like we all says, this car sleep because you hear nothing! The appearance is also amazing especially the interior.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: It is awesome

Cons: Not made for the very speed.

Great Car — Overall this car is pretty great. I love it when bolting around corners, and letting the top down when it's hot. It has a quick pick up. The only down part is when you punch it,it uses about double the gas than normal.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Sporty

Cons: Gaz Guzzler

Great Car! — It's just about the driver's seat being a little bit uncomfortable to be honest, I do like the performance a lot and the car behaves incredibly. I think it's the most fun i've had in a long time. The car looks amazing, it's built well, it handles great, the breaks are good but after upgrading to brembo i think they will be superb...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: It's fun!

Cons: If you don't like to drive fast, don't buy this...

Great Commuter Car With All The Bells And Whistles — braking and handliing for its class is top notch. quality of build is great. not fond of the new body style. has more standard options than previous models its a good car to be comofortable in for long trips. leather is nice and comfortable and the heated seats are where its at when its cold. has enough power for a base model car but I would step up in the future for my next car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: handles well and its quiet inside

Cons: none

Nice Toy...buy The Extended Warranty — Awesome highway car. Athletic response to acceleration and steering in any gear from 3rd to 6th. Solid car. Twin turbo is incredibly responsive. This car is capable of putting your backside into the seat in most any gear... goes from 90 -to 120 in about 3 seconds...

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Performance

Cons: Cost and maintenance

Sleek And Quick — Fast as hell, loud at times. Smooth, big brakes, and tight, responsive handling. Malfunctions are consistent and annoying. Beautiful interior with nice bucket tight seats. 29 mpg highway. So much fun to drive, I never get bored when driving it.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Fast and comfortable as hell.

Cons: Consistent error messages.

Worth Every Penny! — Having previously owned many Audi's, Lexus', and even other BMW's, this is by far the most superior. Quality of materials and fit and finish set the standard of a luxury sports car. Fuel efficiency on this twin-turbo is excellent. It's outer subtle beauty always gets stares.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: M sports package with the M3 Le Mans Blue

Cons: Only RFT avail
