Most Rewarding Sports-luxury Sedan I've Ever Driven — Even though it has all-season tires and is limited to 130 mph, I enjoy driving the 335xi at least as much as my 2000 540iA, which has summer high-performance tires. In short, love almost everything about it except the difficult, unintuitive navigation system accessed and manipulated through I-Drive. The paddle shifters and console-mounted stick offer ideal shifting choices. the automatic double-clutching on downshifts is so fast i can't hear it. only complaint is that even with abs and dsc shut off, there is hesitation at launch that also annoyed me with my steptronic 540iA transmission.

Owner for 0 years, 3 months

Miles Driven per Year:12,000

Cons: no heated steering wheel, manual adjustments for steering wheel and head rests, unlike my 2000 540iA and the current model 5 series. also wish it had trunk lid that rises automatically as does some luxury rentals I've driven recently.

Pros: Its a drivers car

Cons: A bit pricey, but hey, I don't mind buying good quality

Good Car — Handling is a bit weird, but performance is good. Not exactly the most reliable car, but it gets you from A to B.

Pros: Good performance, good looks.

Cons: Average handling.

Grand Tourer — This car is a good all around performer. It isn't as tight as a Porsche and it isn't as cushy as a Mercedes but it hits the nail on the head for fun practicality. The i-Drive system is not as big a pain in the ass as everyone makes it out to be, and almost all options you could need to change are within a menu or two away, or you could just use the voice command to navigate through everything much quicker. If you like to drive quickly, opt for the sport package because the stock seats don't offer enough side bolstering. All in all, this car is a blast to drive, although i wish i had opted for a 335i.

Pros: Great engine and powertrain. Communicative steering, All wheel drive makes driving in the snow a piece of cake.

Cons: suspension is too hard for city driving but not hard enough for sporting applications.
Only runflat tires available from the dealer.

Nice Car — Bought this as a daily driver for my girlfriend. 2008 335xi Coupe. Great car, lots of fun. Would have rather had the i version, and shed the 200 lbs up front. However, she needed the all wheel drive. The manual shifter feels like crap, waiting for the short throw option.

Pros: Many

Cons: The shifter feels like a fork in creamed corn.

08 328xi — Perfect exterior styling, interior is in standard BMW fashion. The 230hp engine screams at redline, the car handles like a dream and the AWD works wonders in bad weather.

Pros: Extreme performance handling, All weather confidence in the form of AWD Sweet
sounding inline 6

Cons: Not as powerful as the 330 or 335, smallish back seat, amber guage color can be
annoying at times.
