Gotta To Love Them — As someone who looks at cars as means getting from A to B, I still am very impressed with the feel and handling of this car.

Pros: The GPS, how the steering feels responsive to where you want to go

Cons: A little too tight a boot, not much space for stuff

The Ultimate Driving Machine — Read above. BMW set the standard for car handing. No one does it better. Ultimate driver's car. All car magazines compare the steering against a BMW. Read Motortrend's review of the Holden Commodore (Pontiac G8): handling was almost as good as the BMW 5 series. People compare the G35 to the 335i, BMW kills it with the steering. Watch the Edmunds video. BMW is 10+ years running in Car & Driver's top ten list every year.

Pros: Driver's car.  Built with passion for perfection.

From Car & Driver: "Stellar steering feel, sports-car handling, powerful and quiet 300-hp twin-turbo six, fuel efficient 230-hp base engine; arguably the best-looking BMW."

Balance — Car is a rocket ship in stock form, and even more wicked with a tune. Very neutral and balanced handling give you confidence wrecking canyons and blasting through turns on uneven road. Heavy footed driving is rewarded with sick passengers.

Pros: Hauls tons of bananas.

Cons: Buggy still.  Early production so it has it's issues.  Not a big negative, but it can be a hassle with a PITA dealer.

My Sexy Car — Nothing bad to say. It's a dream to drive. The bluetooth, navigation, automatic seatbelts are wonderful. My favorite feature is the automatic turning headlights. At night it is great. Especially on mountainous roads in PA.The adjustable steering is wonderful too. I never have to go hand-over hand while driving..

Pros: My BMW 335i is sexy, comfortable, powerful in everyway.

Cons: how the radio keeps playing after I get out of the car. I have to lock the doors in order to shut it up.

Fun, Yet Practical. — Overall great vehicle. I previously owned a 2006 330i, and although this car is slightly slower on drive pavement, it shines in the winter too.

Pros: Style, brakes, all-weather security, handling, interior quality, acceleration.

Cons: Mediocre fuel economy, could be faster.

325 With 30 More Horses — I had this as a loaner car and it's the same as 325 I own, but this had steptronic transmission and it had a different feel to it when driving without the manual one. The handling and driving is similar to the 325 and with the steptronic the engine management system regulars the throttle during downshifts so that the high revs do not damage the engine and transmission.

Pros: Handling, performance, quality

Cons: Paddle shifters should have been more like the F1 type.

Very Fun Car. — This car is a ton of fun to drive. I picked it up in Germany, so I've had it all the way up to 150 and it was solid as a rock and still had some get up and go... It's unfortunately a poor choice for Boston roads and short surface street commutes, since the stock tires are very hard and the shocks are stiff. With higher aspect performance snows on it, though it rides much better.

Pros: Great handling and the engine is amazing ... strong power across the band.

Cons: A rough ride for city streets, and poor luggage capability even with the fold-down rear seats.

It Was My Lemon And I Loved It —

I researched, and test drove like a maniac for a month before finally getting the BMW. I wanted power and this car had it. Unfortunately, like a cat, this car had 9 lives and used all of them in less than a year...so it had to go back. List of problems: 1) Computer screen blew, replaced, 2) Sun roof motor died, replaced, 3) Mirror retractor motor died, replaced, 3) Bad fuel pump, replaced, 4) Timing belt broke, replaced, 5) Headlight assembly installed incorrectly, repaired, 6) Rear brake sensor cracked, replaced, 7) Vacuum seals not sealed, repaired, 8) Oil line kinked, repaired, 9) and finally, Engine failure, repaired...but that was the final straw. My nine month love affair with my perfect car had to end, and luckily BMW worked with us and let us terminate the lease w/o penalty. This car was like Brokeback Mountain - I didn't know how to quit it. :) I LOVED the car when it was working properly and that darn malfunction light wasn't on, it was perfect. Turbocharged and fast as hell. Beautiful interior, comfortable, sporty, had every convenience possible. After about the third major problem, Neal tried to convince me to give the car back, but I just couldn't, I loved it. I've never driven something so smooth, so fast, something with more than 300 horses! I didn't want to give it up...until I was driving out in the middle of the desert and the engine failure light came on, then reality set in..I had to let it go. At least I got a new MINI out of it. :) We'll try BMW again in a few years, hopefully next time I won't the get the lemon.

Pros: Amazing to drive.  This car loved me but it treated me like crap.  I got to test drive a lot of other loaner BMWs while mine was in the shop.

Cons: Everything broke.

2008 Bmw 328i Coupe: A Perfect Car — Easily the best BMW I have had of the four I've driven since 1999 (plus the two Tanya has had). Fantastic handling, solid road connection and a perfect fit to my body. Plus it gets lots of attention.

Pros: Beautiful, tight, responsive, does what it's asked to do, incredibly smooth,
powerful engine

Cons: Car is wider than it feels. Getting into tight spots is harrowing.

King Of Kings — The 3 series has always been the best and remains so! The new twin turbo I-6 is brilliant as well. However it's not the best looking 3-series, and for a few grand more I'd take the Audi S5 to get another 80 ish horse power, V8, and more exclusivity. Either way you can't go wrong, it will always remain as the industry standard, the guy to beat!

Pros: BMW Brilliance!!!

Cons: Really nothing, I'd just have the S5 instead.
