Would Recomend, But Then There Would Be More On The Road. — Four door, quick spooling turbo. Premium sound system, four wheel disc breaks, Fun to drive, faster than a si civic. Beats most entry level bmw's in take off and acceleration. The satellite radio is cool, but the seats have an audi seat warmers that make it more comfortable during the winter. Did i mention push start and keyless entry? Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Faster than the turbo eclipse Cons: None ![]() Looking for a Used Passat in your area?CarGurus has 5,562 nationwide Passat listings starting at $1,002. |

Dope — the 2.0t i think is a really great sports sedan at an truly great price. its not an M3 or some supercar, but it is quick. the only thing i dislike is the front wheel drivetrain. other than that, everything is superb for a car in that price range. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) Pros: appearance Cons: front wheel drive |

Good Big Comfortable Estate If Only It Was Put Together Better — The car is good looking and gives people a shock when the 197bhp is unleashed especially as, being automatic it is seamless. Terrible service from Oswestry dealer who sold the car Wrexham VW have worked hard to put this right. Leather interior is comfortable and the heated seats the best I've ever had. The car had 17 warranty faults and another one within a month of the warranty end. Tcar is an Estate and is a nice place to be but very dissappointed with faults and Oswestry dealer Primary Use: Family transportation Pros: Quick, quiet, comfortable Cons: sad to have spent all this Money to have so many faults |

Lemmon — Quirky electrical problems FOB got stuck 2x Replaced both coils (required towing ) Car would'nt shift after stopping at drive thru coffee shop. >required towing Intake flap motor required adjustment All the above were covered by warranty The past few weeks, car out of warranty 66,00 miles. Flap motor replace for 500 dollars. Car still has issues brought back to dealer. Fuel regulator or cam shaft may need to be replaced. 800 for fuel regulator 1700 for cam shaft . Dealer mentioned flap motor may have masked the cam or fuel regulator problem. Dealer and VW say sorry, can't help !! Flap motor replaced Primary Use: Commuting to work Pros: Handles and rides great Cons: Over engineered to many problems |

Has A Few Small Flaws But Makes You Forgett Them As You Drive The Car Around. — Good looking and really comfortable car he has the extra power you need but you always want a little more when your on the highway the car is really fun to drive and has good gas mileage for a 200 hp car. He changed my thoughts about VW Passat who I thought was a family car. Pros: Really suprises you. Cons: Minor anoyances |

Chubs — It has a tendency to shift hard: transmission is worrying me. It handles pretty well. The lock and window controls on the doors are peeling. The center arm rest/console kinda bothers me, you have to open it all the way just to close it. I love the way it looks, inside and out. The buttery beige leather is awesome. I suppose gas mileage is decent... Pros: It's fun to drive, zippyish. Cons: The radio is kinda sucky and I wish the engine had more 'purr' to it... |

Vw Passat 2,0t Highline - Family Limo — I had the 2,0 Turbo charged 200 hp engine (engine of the year it it's class 2006) with all the goodies VW can provide. Leather/alcantar seats - 6-disc CD. Remote controled heater (THAT one I miss). Nice but noicy. Pros: Performence and space Cons: Road noice |

Passat 2.0 — The Passat's 4 cylinder engine is strong and acceleration and pickup were impressive. The Passat moves in and out of traffic with ease and braking is great as well. The body is solid and the cabin is quiet even at high RPMs. The re- designed front end looked good as do the LED taillights. The controls and gauges could appear to be difficult to use and read, but with practice, I would imagine they become simple. Pros: Performance, Build Quality Cons: Controls and Gauges, Mirrors |

Family Euro Gti — The reason it has a bad reliability reputation is because many mechanics dont know how to fix it, like the air conditionning vents. It is the cost efective Audi. It is fun to drive while in Sports mode the most! Pros: Fast, and quite modifiable! Cons: many mechanics dont know how to fix it |

Vw Passat 06 (new Purchase) — If this car hadn't been in the shop 8 times in the first year and a half, I would probably love it. I think that says it all. Problems: Adaptive Headlights, Push Button Parking Break, Side Airbag Sensors, Transmission, I think that's all.... In the shop for 28 days on for one issue. Thank god for the warranty. Pros: Looks pretty when parked. Cons: Doesn't look pretty when parked at the shop. |
