It's Hard To Beat The Comfort, Style, And Sense Of Mind With A 4runner. — This car was perfect! Easy to accommodate the needs of a family on the go. Stylish for the drive around town with adults, roomy for family trips including the dog! Worked well as a teen first car also, safety was not a concern on the part of the vehicle. It never left us stranded. As our family grew with the times my only wish was that it had more options for charging our devices. Love this car!

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Smooth ride, ample room,  excellent cargo capacity - especially with seats laid down. Good looking vehicle.

Cons: I wish the back seats reclined more for the comfort of passengers trying to sleep on a longer ride.

The Best Car I Have Even Owned — I would recommend the 4runner to anyone. I have put 200K miles and still have the original brakes, battery, etc. on the car. What other car could you say that you have 200K with no issues. I have only changed the oil on the car. I love this car.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 200K care free miles-no issues except the LED in the dash

Cons: Gas mileage and LED burning out on the dash

Great Family 4x4 All Purpose! — My 2nd 4Runner, I had owned a 2000 before this one. Really loved this car but traded in for an Acura MDX that I love but not the same for deep snow. As a result I had to get my MDX towed out of the snow in the NC mountains. Thats when I really missed my 4 runner.

Pros: This truck could go anywere, lots of room for going into the mountains and camping.   Also great looking SUV.

Cons: Gas Milage, also cadilidic converter would get the sulfer smell.
Not super comfortable for  long rides.

Loved This Suv — We have loved owning this vehicle. We have been all over the western USA & Canada with this SUV. Handles great and comfortable drive. This vehicle handles great in snow and ice. Very sturdy. We have expensive Michelin mud and snow tires for smooth, safe ride.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Handles very well in snow

Cons: Average 18mpg

Dependable. Great Handling.comfortable. Stylish. Roomy. — I like Toyota 4runners. They're dependable. They're comfortable. With some pretty intelligent ideas put into the entire vehicle. Handles very well for a bigger SUV. Has superb get up and go and very acceptable gas mileage. Hauls my groceries and my canoe. As well as plenty of passengers with gear. Great for camping in any weather. Blows icy cold in summer. Warm and toasty in the winter. Very happy to have this particular model being the sport edition it lives up to its name

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Looks and handles great. Real nice off road dirt/snow. plenty of  cargo and sitting space. Nice quiet cab. Ergonomics work well in the drivers seat as we'll as the rest of the vehicle. 20 gallon fuel tank rides nearly 400 miles on it.

Cons: Overall an expensive vehicle to purchase new. Expensive to repair. Too many bells and whistles that won't last as long as the vehicle. Example: tire inflation sensor light never functions as designed. Always a false reading when I've checked pressure with a tire gauge

The Benchmark Of Mid-sized Suvs — I absolutely love this car; it's too bad I hadn't purchased the version with 3rd row seating initially. Compared to other offerings in this category the 4Runner is a much more serious vehicle when it comes to 4WD capabilities and rugged dependability.

Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: Fantastically reliable, great visibility, plenty of interior room and very comfortable; terrific SUV.

Cons: Absolutely nothing.

Very Dependable Mid Size Suv With The Best Resale Value — If you're looking for a mid size SUV, get a 4Runner V6. It has timing chain and sealed auto transmission, which equals no maintenance required except for oil changes every 5k miles. Just wish they made these with 3rd row seats.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Strong resale value with minimal maintenance.

Cons: Gas mileage is around 22mpg around town and highway combined

2006 Toyota 4runner Sport, V6, 2wd — This has to be one of the easiest vehicle to own. This was my first Toyota and midsize SUV. It's fun to drive and it's functionality and reliability can't be beat. I am very satisfied and highly recommend this vehicle.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Perfect for carrying people and equipment.
Reliable.
Doesn't need very many repairs.
Comfortable interior.
Smooth ride for SUV.

Cons: Gas milage could be better.
Maintenance cost can sometimes be pricy.
Horrible factory radio (Had two warranty replacements within 4 years.)
