My Suby — Great car, just needed to change the tyres as the tyres it comes with are quite nosiy on the road. Great build quality, lovely to drive, lots of power and turbo gives it grunt. Easy for my dogs to get in and out of the back too!

    Pros: great to drive

Cons: has to have most expensive petrol

Go Buy It! — I wish I got the 6 cylinder. I like a fast take off, but this is good, but I feel like I might hirt it if I take off to fast before waitng for it to get into gear. The wind noise thru the windows is loud but if you turn on the radio it's okay. Everything else I love. The curtain cover for the "trunk" storage area rattles but only because it is a roll up retractible kind. Gas mileage is great, it hasd a 13 gallon tank and I can go 288 miles (in town and about 50 highway) on a tank. It has lots of big windows which I love so my view isn't restricted as it shouldn't be when you are driving.

Pros: Great small active family car.

Cons: Wind noise (but only the cheapy model)

Subaru Forester 2.5 Turbo 2006 — The sports car of off-roaders,best of both worlds,0-100km/h in 6.9sec.240km/h top speed.top notch brakes and handling, after 110000 km no breakdown or repairs needed, amasing off-road capibilities, bit heavy on fuel when driven hard, expensive service bills.

Pros: Performance on and off road

    Cons: None

Subaru Forester — Great car! I amazed some serious Jeep fans in the sands of Mosambiek - comment: how did you get up here? In that!? Great buy, serious reliability and a fun drive. Good boot space, and although the handgear is fun, automatic works better on sand and mud. Looks is "understated elegance", the new edition has more in that department.

    Pros: Great all-rounder

Cons: Low range not low enough for real off-road

My Dream Car - How I Miss It! — It's like they say, better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all. That is literally how I fell about this car. When I was driving it the slogan "Love, it's what makes a Subaru a Subaru" always used to pop into my head because I truly LOVED this car. And I miss it so much. I wish I still had it. I feel so bad about it's fateful end. But at the same time it saved my boyfriend's life and I am so grateful for that. More than once actually. The functionality cannot be beat. And the reliability... wow. I didn't know you could buy a used car that is so reliable. Damn... still makes me sad to think that it's gone... and that now I have a car that's reliability does not even touch my Subie's. RIP my friend.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: I LOVED this car. Drives and handles like a car in a compact SUV body. Functional in so many ways, from cargo space to room for my dog and snowboards. The features are so great! The heated leather seats are great, and the sun/moon roof is huge and fantastic. The LL Bean is the way to go. The wood accents look really nice and give a luxurious feel. But the car has sufficient power to be a fun drive too! And with the black paint and dark tinted windows it didn't look like a mommy wagon as some might think. I miss this car. SO RELIABLE! NEVER had ONE issue with this car. Just great.

Cons: Really not many. If I wanted to be picky I'd say give it 6 cylinders instead of 4, with the same size. The handling for an SUV is great, but I also drove an Outback of the same year and it had better handling and power. But man, what a functional, efficient and most of all reliable car!
