Decent Looks And Reasonable Build Quality, Handles Well, But Has A Pathetic Boot And Noisey Engine. — The MK2 Seat Leon was launched in 2005. I have the 2006 model with a few options. Good fun car to throw about, but the 1.9 TDi lets it down. Opt for the 2.0 TDi with the 6-speed box. Much more refined and has that added power advantage. Nicely built as it's based on a VW Golf. Has very supportive seats, good driving position, but doesn't have a blind-spot drivers side mirror...not even on the FR! A PITA if you do a lot of motorway driving, but it does have cruise control. The boot is pretty small, but the cabin is well equipped and spacious. I'd have another, but would jump up to the 2.0 TDi

Pros: Economical, modern and fun to drive for what it is.

Cons: The 1.9 TDi isn't very refined!

Seat Leon 1.6l Stylance — The leon 1.6 FSI stylance in an amazing runabout and an awesome daily driver. The build quality is great, and just as solid as any German car, and the styling is phenomenal. The 1.6L is enough for daily use and plenty of passing power in a car this size, and provides great fuel economy. The interior is very ergonomic and they have made great use of space, allowing for a very flexible and versatile interior. The short wheelbase and tight suspension makes it fun to drive. Definitely a car well worth the money!

Pros: Versatile fun allrounder

Cons: Nothing much wrong with this car

A Black Missile In The Night — It's a very good car, nice building and very nice to drive. 1.9tdi 105bhp (upgraded to 135) are cool, and the torque is amazing for a car like that. Very funny to drive, with the Sport chassis & suspensions and 17" rims. With my mnodification you can do 100km with about 6 liters of diesel petrol, that's very good... oh....130 km/h or 200 km/h.....No difference in gas mileage... VERY FUNNY

Pros: Very good performace and good gas mileage, very funny to drive

Cons: It's always a Volkswagen

Diesel Power — bought the diesel version 140bhp, nice car to drive smooth. there are no rattles for the age. styling is a bit better than the old model. it has dual climate control and is as fast as the Ibiza FR which is only 10 brake horse more which i used to own.

Pros: fuel econemy

Cons: nothing at the moment

First Really Great Seat — I drive this a lot (it's a company car). If you want some style mated with a Golf's engine and transmission (especially those 2.0TDI engines) and can afford it it's a natural pick.

Pros: TDI engine :)

Cons: stupidest remote locking system ever, rearward visibility
