Tide Car — Love my Tc! I call it my Tide Car (Roll Tide!!). It's large than the average coupe. No one has ever complained about not having enough room in the back seats, even with three people sitting back there! It looks great, and not mention performs like no other in its class. The 2.4 litre in-line 4 is a good perfect size engine or a turbo, though stock it is still pretty quick. The car is basically a blank canvas for any car junkie. The possibilities are endless with what you can do to this car! And just to add to the great things about it, the gas mileage is great! 22 in the city (depending on how you drive) and about 28-30 on the highway. It's just an overall great car that is just loads of fun to drive! Pros: Quick, Loads of room, Good gas mileage. Good bang for your buck. Cons: Needs a 6th gear... ![]() Looking for a Used tC in your area?CarGurus has 870 nationwide tC listings starting at $2,450. |

Scion Tc's Rock! — My mom drives this car. It has a five-speed manual transmission and I used it to pass my road test. The acceleration is a bit jumpy when using little throttle and clutch in 1st and 2nd gear but that is the only real problem I have noticed. It is a very quick car and I have hardly driven it hard. The few times she has let me drive it on my own, I cornered an intersection, with an improper apex, at 45 miles per hour to give my friend a thrill. It's a fun car to gun it on, but I have too much respect for it to give it too many hard times. (Besides, I respect my mom too.) I may have convinced my mom to sell that car to me after I'm out of college. With that stick-shift, it is the ultimate affordable car. Pros: quick, smooth handling, fun, good looks Cons: annoying rev limiter |

I Have No Idea What This Question Means — I love that i turbocharged it.it's honestly 100X faster then it was when it was stock. it's a great car but honestly lacks power at this alltitude. The car rattles a lot in cold weather. but that is to be expected of a car with an all glass roof. Only the front section of the roof opens. Pros: It gets great gas milage...... stock. Cons: rattles. |

Scion Tc — I put a cold air intake into it and I hope to soon add a cat back system (injen or magnaflow), then subs at some point, and obviously a radar detector...:) Definitely a fun car to drive. Quick acceleration. Good handling. Stock sound system is ok but not great. Bass is somewhat disappointing. Pros: My Intake. Cons: Bass in sound system, trunk is way too tiny. |

2006 Scion Tc — This car had fairly good acceleration... most of the time. I was always having problems with the transmission, and the car stalling while i was driving. The dealer never could seem to find out what was wrong with it. I was disapointed with the gas milage that the car got. i expected to get better fuel economy from a car made by toyota. Pros: appearance, sound system Cons: stalling, dealership service |

2006 Scion Tc — * Performance: Most fun car to drive I've ever owned. The 2.4L I-4 gets respectable gas mileage (25/30) and has a ton of hp/torque for its size, stock (160hp/165tq) which makes is a blast to rock around. (Plus, the mods I've done help out even more with the tq/hp and throttle response) * Build Quality: Best quality I've ever had in a compact car - far superior to even my dearly loved 2000 Honda Civic EX, and I'm pretty sure a lot of that has to do with the fact that it's built 100% in Japan. (The Civic was built in the US) * Appearance: I really like it. Looks great to me! * Cost of ownership: Haven't spent any money on maintenance besides oil, which could be due to the fact that it's got less than 30k miles on it. =) * Fun factor: Most fun car I've ever owned, by far. =D Pros: Super fun to drive, very torquey, great build quality, great features for price Cons: Gas mileage isn't nearly as good as my Civic was, but still OK. |

Great Car With Some Quirks. — This was a pretty sweet car. It's a hatchback, so you can load it up with all sorts of stuff (I hauled 12' 4x6's when I built a swing set, and all the wood to build the 6' stockade fence in the back yard). Acceleration is peppy due to its 2.4l Camry engine. Styling was pretty unique when it came out and it turned lots of heads. Panoramic moon roof was pretty cool. The stereo was fair so I replaced it. Car was pretty noisy on the highway, though, and it developed a few squeaks and rattles that drove me nuts. Plus it's a 2-door, which gets old when you have a kid's car seat back there. Pros: Styling, engine, hatchback, wheels, moon roof. Cons: Highway noise, rattles, gas mileage seems like it should have been better. |

Lots Of Stock Add-on Parts — could be quicker but can add a turbo for manual or auto trans. fun car to drive. toyota parts means it'll last forever. Pros: looks. handling. panoramic roof. peppy motor. Cons: no other trim packages. leather seats would be nice. electronic adjustable driver's seat would also be nice |

I Loved This Car, It Was My First Brand New Car That I Bought — It was such a good car, super cute and sporty, it had a quick lil giddy up to it- but it ran hard in cold or wet weather. Thats it, my only complaint. Well, that and it was losing value on the daily. Pros: tons of standard options Cons: sucked in the chicago winters and/or wet weather |

I Drive It Like I Stole It And She Keeps Me On The Road... Most Of The Time — Motegi FF7, Agency Power crank pulley, Fidanza flywheel, cm clutch, JIC Magic coilovers, Weapon R intake. 20% tint. It is in show condition and also looks great going fast. It would do much better with a limited slip, handling is awesome accell is fast for a naturally aspirated 4 cylinder no need to change brakes they work great. Pros: Suede seats. the ladies love it. RELIABLE Cons: Govorner at 130 mph. front wheel drive |
