My '06 Goat — The car is an absolute blast to drive. It's performance matches or exceeds many Grand Touring cars which cost much more than the GTO. It is truly a performance bargain. The weak link in the car is its suspension. It is somewhat soft. As a cost cutting measure they used inferior suspension components. The shocks and struts were badly worn by 50k miles. I replaced them with coilovers, larger sway bars and urethane bushings. The car now handles like its on rails! The build quality is very good compared to other GM cars because it is built largely in Australia away from the hands of the UAW union.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Powerful and fast

    Cons: Stock suspension is weak.

Gto Lives Up To Its Name! Gas Tires Oil — I love this car. The interior has alot of room. Car has been called a honda accord, but there is no honda that will pass it on the road. Handles great and is a really fun to drive. Gas is expensive for this car. You must use synthic oil and tires will not stay on this car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: fast, fun and comfortable.

Cons: gas tires and oil plus tickets

Awesome! — 400 Horsepower.. rear wheel drive.. 4 wheel rotors, 13'' in the front, 2 piston calipers = great braking power.. 0-60 mph - 4.7 seconds.. handling: very good styling: very good inside and outside styling, mean looking headlights and hood scoops Fuel economy: 17-18 mpg city, 24-26 mpg highway Very Fun to drive!.. a little challenge in the snow though ;)

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

    Pros: Fast!

    Cons: none

Realistic Dream Car — The GTO attracted me with its long list of standard features and the amount you get per dollar. A Corvette drive train, with four seats, and plenty of money to spare? I like the styling that its unique in its own way but at the same time, is a total sleeper and is not going to grab the attention of every cop in town. The performance is something to experience directly behind the wheel. The suspension is a subjective issue, but if you like something comfortable and still responsive with the progressive springs as you would expect with an everyday driver, this is it. In regards to negatives, be prepared to spend a pretty penny on parts and gas. Although it isn't a Corvette, often times the parts are priced as though it is. The brakes are firm but expect fading and warping with hard use. Only major issue was a leak in the rear differential (warranty).

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: You're going to get your money's worth. If you put more money into it, it will only return the favor with its untapped power.

Cons: If you are only an A to B kind of driver.

2006 Pontiac Gto Review — Great car. Overall the car has provided me with a great driving experience. The power at any RPM is practically instant and gives a great kick. The interior is simple but functional and the leather seats are very comfortable. The rear seat can definitely seat two with a good amount of room. On the down sides, has a very small trunk and the styling is a bit bland. All and all, the car is great and if your interested in one, Test drive it!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Acceleration, Leather seats, 6 cd changer, 18" stock rims

    Cons: Bland styling, small trunk

2006 Pontiac Gto — What other car could you get with 400 horsepower with the ability to carry 4 adults for less than 32K and still get 25 mpg on the highway? None! It's quirky and was made in Holden, Australia. The seats are amazing and the fit and finish far surpasses anything I've driven from GM.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: 6 liters of engine, 6 gears of transmission, and 400 HP on tap

Cons: The trunk is small and the key is huge.

Worth The Aed128ks .... — Great acceleration, very good handling but bad braking. The building quality sucks, but the spare parts are so cheap and available. I love the look of the car and the red leather interior. this car is 100% fun to drive.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: POWER without control - and i like wild things -

    Cons: Safety and quality issues

The Great One — This is by far my most favorite car I've ever owned. I put roughly 20,000 miles on it a year because I just can not stop driving it. I have a few modifications done and currently it has 502 horse power (430 rwhp). I still see 27.2 mpg on the highway! Over all it is a perfect car, and is a true bargain for what you get for the price. I would recommend this car to anyone who wants rear wheel drive v-8

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Cammed V8 power, need I say more?

Cons: Having to watch to odometer tick by because I can't stop driving it.
