Not A Bad Ride But If Purchased Another $2k Should Bring You Up To Spec ;) — well i have had my car for a little over 6 months now and have had the funds to put a little money into it but from the factory its really not a bad car, BUT WARNING: there are 2 things you must do if you buy one of these cars, first get an aftermarket header, alot of people are having issues with the precat rusting and it being sucked into the engine, and second these cars all have 2 intake runners the second which comes on at 5100 rpm and is opened via butterfly valves you need to disassemble your intake manifold and loctite these butterfly screws down before you find one in your engine!!! but i only have about $500 in mine and it seems to run well against most other cars in the price range, ive got cai/h/e, nylatron shifter bushings, sts adapter plate, and buschur racing tranny fluid and mine runs top notch

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: torque, auto-x + 6spd = i win ...lol

Cons: precat and butterfly issues, 6th gear falls off

Not A Bad Little Call — Great solid car for a compact. Its got enough power to get it going but not much more. It looks great, nice clean lines. Its pretty cheap to maintain, oil, belts, sensors, and the like. Its great on gas. Pretty fun to drive too.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Its fun to drive and handles well.

Cons: Not much power.

I Like It. Id Suggest It To A Friend — Over all good car. It performs well. i think one of the best cars for its money. owned for almost 3 years i beat it up quite a bit and it takes the beatings. never replaced anything on it (50k miles down) Not even break pads yet. Appearance - eh its not ugly but not a flash car ether

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Best bang for the buck

Cons: not a chick magnet

06 Ser Specv — this car is a reliable sporty all around fun car. it has a 2.5 litre inline four cylender engine, with a six speed transmision. this car has loads of torque. top end power is goo, tops out at 130 mph. I dont agree with this, because it will do 127 in 5th gear. govenor should be taken out. other than that, the car is fun.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: fast for a 4 banger

Cons: front wheel drive

Good Fast Car, But Make Sure You Really Want One Before You Buy It. — Great starter car. Too small, made in Mexico, build quality kind of poor. Required two shifts to reach 60MPH. Cool Colors, Fast for the kind of car it was. Very good stero. Safe several air bags. Cheap to buy and take care of. Civic SI would have been better

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Fast, Fun, handels good

Cons: Cheaply made, small

I Love My Yellow Sentra. — It's very economical and easy to drive. The gas mileage is great. Don't get this car for a ton of room. Also, it sucks in the snow. Overall, it's a great car to own as a single guy and parks very well in the city.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas mileage

Cons: Room

Nissan Sentra 1.8 Special Edition — It accelerates fine. The 1.8L I4 has great fuel economy. The quality is solid. It is slightly on the ugly side.. but it's a great car for commuting. It is cheap to own as well. The car drives well, and can be fun. The stereo system in the special edition is nice as well.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Gas mileage, cost of ownership

Cons: Appearance is not so great..

Great Daily Driver, And Great To Toss Around At The Track Also! — The Spec V overall is a great car in the sport-compact class. It's well styled inside and out, has peppy performance, and a very reasonable price tag. Gas mileage is not what you would expect from such a small car, averaging 23 miles per gallon. The build quality overall seems pretty solid, with little to no rattles/squeaks. The performance overall is good. Acceleration is brisk from 1st to 3rd gear, after that this car feels like it falls flat on it's face. Braking and handling are comparable to most any other performance based sport compact car on the market. All in all, this is a fun, quick, sporty compact four door to drive. I'd recommend this vehicle to others.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Torquey, stylish, great fit & finish, affordable

Cons: Pre-cat failure, poor gas mileage

2006 Boosted Sentra Spec-v — The car was super fun to drive when it was stock, even more so now. Cost of ownership is low as long as you keep it normally aspirated. The build quality in my opinion is pretty top notch for the price of the car.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Strong Transmittion, Helical LSD, 6-Speed

Cons: TRACTION!

For Better Or Worse, I Love This Car. — Performer - Fast acceleration confident braking, composed through the corners. Build Quality - Interior is comfortable and rugged, but rattles and squeaks will make you want death. Appearance - Love it. Cost of Ownership - Great, so far. Fun Factor - You will be a hoon every time you get behind the wheel.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Hard acceleration and go-kart like handling

Cons: A little more time could have been spent vetting out the interior issues
