after doing some research i found these cars have a motor that has a bad habit of self-destruction at 80K miles, this motor is the M272 and M273 you want to avoid them !! they have a faulty timing chain pulley that wears prematurely and when it does its a zero-clearance motor and valves start hitting the pistons and Motor is Toast, AVOID THIS CAR !!

A Terrific All-around Car — I've owned more than 30 cars over the years. To name a few - Audi, BMW, Datsun, Honda, Isuzu, Jaguar (XKE & XJ-S), Lancia, Lexus, MG, Nissan, Peugeot, Range Rover, Renault, Scion, Sterling, Toyota, Triumph, Rambler, Mercury (Comet and Grand Marquis), Ford (UM...Falcon, T-Bird, Explorer, F-150), Buick, Saturn a 1948 Plymouth and a few more I don't recall. Oh...this Mercedes-Benz CLK500 should be included. I thought for many years of owning the 1995 Lexus SC400, that it was the best car I had owned (for 14 years). Nope. As much as I loved that car, Lexus hasn't made anything special since and I have no brand loyalty going there. Since owning the Mercedes, I've only seriously considered M-B for my next car. Hmmm...

    Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros: A true sports coupe with a generous dose of luxury.  Quick, lively performer when you want it...civilized, comfortable easy drive when you want to chill.  Excellent, manageable proportions - big enough for four adults...small and quick enough to toss about, handle city traffic or park.  Strong power curve (with plenty of torque), taut suspension and precise steering.

Cons: Navigation not as intuitive as today's technology. While back seat has plenty of room once seated, ingress, egress can be ungainly.

Great Sports Car With Superb Handling — Overall, the best car I have ever owned. Very-powerful 300+ horsepower and the car reall moves! . A real sleeper. Nice AMG accents and low profile Michelin tires and sharp alloy rims. Not bad fuel economy for a huge engine. Gorgeous cabriolet convertible rag top. Virtually maintenance free. Nice 7-speed transmission is smooth and fast. . The 2-mode (cruise & sport) allow for easy change of transmission responsiveness at the press of a switch. If you are driving around with the family, set it to 'cruise mode" and when you want to get the most out of a true sports car, put it in 'sports or S mode' and the car just is so responsive. Also the transmission adapts to your driving style. Memory seats change to 3 different driver profiles at the touch of a button. No fiddling with switches after your wife has driven it and you need to hop in and go.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Cons: None to speak of, other than maybe the back seats being too small, but hey I"m 6' 2". and I don't sit there.

Best Car I've Ever Owned — This car is awesome. It looks good, runs awesome and with 68000 miles, still runs like it did in 2005 when I purchased it. With the exception of scheduled maintenance and 2 sets of tires, this vehicle has been virtually indestructible.

    Primary Use: Family transportation

    Pros: Styling, power, reliability

    Cons: None

Miss Benz So Fly — Maintenance cost is expensive. She is a beautiful car. Sexy, sleek, and smooth. In return you get great performance for speed and power on the streets. You can drive at an amazing speed and still have full control of the car. It's small size can maneuver at a great angle.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros: Great Handling on steering, High Performance engine.

Cons: Burns gas easily due to sports performance.

Awesome For The Money — V8 plus seven speed gearbox = lots of grunt. Quiet interior with no engine rumble. Build quality is high. Looks good in red. Electronics galore. Pretty okay gas mileage. Sunroof plus no window pillar gives wide open feeling to a coupe. Nice headlights too.

    Primary Use: Commuting to work

Pros: Nav is good - Nice radio - 6 second 0-60

Cons: Way too many buttons - Wanted distronic and parktronic
